The Michael Jackson Estate just registered a couple of new domain names related to the first "MichaelFest" event they announced yesterday for this December.
As I previously reported, the MJ Estate registered the "MichaelFest" trademark a year ago. Now we know the reason.

Fans will have the chance to experience the legacy of Michael Jackson in a whole new way during the first ever Estate-authorized Michael Jackson Fan Fest which will take place for a limited time only at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino starting on December 3, 2011.

This experience is expected to include a wide variety of elements such as an up-close look at Michael Jackson memorabilia, items from Neverland Ranch, photo opportunities in recreated sets from historic Michael Jackson videos, a behind the scenes look at the creation of Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour, a main stage featuring contests, Q&A sessions with members of the creative team from THE IMMORTAL World Tour as well as other associates of Michael Jackson, giveaways and more.

In addition, the Fan Fest will give attendees the chance to play and compete against others in contests centered around the recently released UBISOFT video game "Michael Jackson: The Experience." An interactive, engaging, and immersive design will create a larger than life environment for all Fan Fest goers and promises to be a one-of-a-kind unique event.

The Fan Fest will be open for 4-hours before THE IMMORTAL World Tour shows on December 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 in the Bayside Exhibit Halls. In the case of two-show nights, the Fan Fest will have two sessions open to the public at separate starting times. Ticket and session information will be announced in the coming weeks. Check back for up-to-the-minute updates.

Oh wow this is exciting. It is interesting they have a domain PeterPan.com considering it is a Disney character. You would think Disney would own that trademark/domain.
 
I just searched the peterpan links and they take you straight to an MJ site.... I thought that was really cool is all x
 
Signed up with the Fanfest. I think right now we are the most happy fans in fandom!!! We should thank Michael for leaving such competent and innovative people to be in charge of his Estate.

I never would have imagined that so many domain names were holded by the estate.
But indeed the MJ fest sounds great !
 
what if someone had a great mj related domain name, how would you go about letting sony know in case they want to make you an offer ?
