Hey everyone!

Just thought I would write a sort of intro...hope this is an OK place to post this.

I've been a fan of Michael as far back as I can remember but I really got into him in 2001 when I was 6th grade, he helped me grow up and was my friend when no one else was there.

I sort of drifted from him over the years but when I heard about his death...I was devastated. I couldn't help but feel guilty, like I hadn't recognized him as much as I used to and I had almost given in to other people's negative opinions. I just feel horrible that it took this to help me remember and appreciate the man that has had such an impact in shaping who I am today. Now I just am going through bouts of happiness about memories and nostalgia and tears when I realize he is gone forever.

I just thought I would join because I really need some support, my friends and family don't really understand how much this is affecting me and I know all of you are going through similar things.

Also, thought I would share this. I took this as soon as I found out. I thought it was really beautiful.

Rachel welcome! You've found a wonderful place! Yes these times MJfans do understand MJfans (hopefully) best.
It's good you're here! We do need to gather also for support for eachother!
