Need help - Worldwide TV Statistics

Right, I need the worldwide ratings for Michael's memorial service. I need that because, during an assembly at school, the teacher asked us what the most watched event worldwide in 2009 was, and me knowing it was the memorial put my hand up and said so... Then everyone laughed at me. The teacher then said that the Sydney New Year firework display was the most watched event worldwide in 2009.

So can anyone find my the exact ratings for the memorial service and, if they can, the ratings for the Sydney firework display at New Years?
