N'dambi is criminally underrated!!! This is Neo-soul at its best!! She used to be Erykah Badu's backround vocalist and has even penned a few tracks for her. Her debut album "Little lost girls Blues" is an absolute,
soul masterpeice in my humble opinion.

People tell me what you think of this gem of an artist. She recently signed to STAX records so I'm guessing we'l be hearing more from her as she was previously independant.

always liked the sound she carved out for herself, more jazz and folk-influenced than most 'neo-soul', but not really feeling her voice.

i saw her live in Amsterdam last year alongside Leon Ware and Soulive (all on Stax/Concord) and she sounded really rough.

but a great writer too, unfairly slept on, then again there are many in the same boat..

Arxter, her voice is an acquired taste but I like it, it suits her Jazzy sound. She reminds me of Nina Simone.
