A few weeks ago I was at my singing class and I had to sing a song called 'Nature Boy' by Nat King Cole. As u might all know he sang 'Smile', and he's also buried at Forest Lawn in Glendale.
I sang a few lines and then the lyrics began to hit me....it's so fitting for Michael! My voice just broke down and I had to do effort not to let the tears come rolling. Wonder why I hadn't heard the song before...it's so amazing.
Just wanted to share this with you, listen it here!
There was a boy
A very strange enchanted boy
They say he wandered very far, very far
Over land and sea
A little shy
And sad of eye
But very wise
Was he
And then one day
A magic day he passed my way
And while we spoke of many things, fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"
