When everybody else in school was listening to grunge I was listening to MJ and getting into disco through the jackson 5 five records 'dancing machine' and 'Moving Violation'. People thought I was weird but I found strength in Michaels artistry and conviction in his work as well as the Jackson brothers coolness and great clothes. Man they were cool! Michael Jackson was the BIG BANG for me and music. No one had more soul and emotion in their music and Im grateful to Michael and his brothers for their incredible music. Michael was a real life superhero! A genius who studied the greats and worked hard at his craft. He lived and breathed through his music, Michael I would like to thank you for lighting my life and showing me the only way to make music is to feel it and sing what you mean, to show your soul. Be great and impact others with kindness and love.
