My introduction

I'd just like to say hello to everyone here, and that I'll never forget signing up to this forum. I signed up to this forum a few hours before Michael died. I was looking at the pictures of the O2 arena on a thread here, in anticipation of the concert I was due to go to in August.

I was actually happy that day because my ticket was to sit at the very top of the arena and I was worried about the view, and I looked at the pics and realised the arena was smaller than I'd imagined.

I received my confirmation email for joining the forums around the time Michael passed on. This was all too surreal.

Anyway, I hope you're all well, and this seems like a really nice place. I'd like to be in London on the 13th but I can't see a way to do it. I'm working and I'd have nowhere to stay. In truth I couldn't be classed as a 'hardcore' follower Michael Jackson as I never saw him (sadly - but I'm only 24 and haven't really had the chance before his planned O2 tour) or went to any fan gathering, but I do feel as though I should be joining some of you at this time.

Hi

I am new here myself, I would love to pop to london but I am recovering from a foot operation so don't think I will be able to make the O2...........it feels like it would be the right thing to do though, kind of a statement, hope many fans can make it, I think real die hard fans need each other to share grief.
