I hope Prince would make a remix of Bad like it was meant to be with Michael and Prince as a duet.

but anyways here are my ideas for the Bad 25th Anniversary release

Regular CD: Bad 25th Anniversary
Special Edition CD: Bad 25th Anniversary + Bad Tour DVD
Deluxe Edition CD: Bad 25th Anniversary Casebook Case + Bad Tour DVD
Vinyl: Bad 25th Anniversary
Picture Vinyl: Bad 25th Anniversary + Bad Tour DVD + Bad Poster

So what do you think ?
 
IMO it would be better just having one version, we don't want Sony thinking that every fan will buy every version so that they can just make as much money as they can.

But IMO all we need is an Anniversary edition consisting of the album of course, which includes a bonus disc with several outtakes (not heard before, of course) and DEMOS from the Bad sessions, which we still for some reason don´t have any of. AND, as you said, a concert DVD from the ´88 leg.

I also like the idea of having Prince doing his version of Bad as the duet he wanted it to sound like. This just so we all could hear the difference in how the two musical geniuses were thinking and hearing the same song. Would B cool! :)
 
On bonus of the bluray the rehearsals, on bonus on the cd all the demos from the album.
I know I'm a dreamer.

no yokohama please.

wembley july 1988 is guaranteed (whether it's jumbo video screen 4x3 videotape footage or spectacular widescreen moonwalker-like film footage we don't know yet) but l.a. 1989 would be really nice. the l.a. 1989 videotape footage from "the one" dvd and the memorial service montage have aged remarkably well.

i've posted this before but check out 2:32. it HAS to be wembley (behind mj spinning in "you are not alone" and just before "can you feel it"). bad-era mj at start of "wanna be startin somethin" facing an hysterical crowd.

We do. Thats true. Personally I feel that part of that tour is so damn good, MJ is glowing and the first leg contains some numbers not included in the second leg. It looks very nice already in it's bootlegged state, but I'm sure it will impress even more on Blu Ray :)

Al Capone is the early/original version of smooth criminal..
Besides that i would have bought this in a heaaartbeat!

I've never been sure about that. In 1985, he submitted the 1985 demo to Smooth Criminal, the demo to Al Capone, and the demo to Chicago 1945 all to the US Library of Congress for copyright ownership. They may have similar topics, but they may not be the same song

I've wondered about it, but it's never been confirmed. All 3 songs were concieved that same year, it wouldn't hurt to have all 3 of them LOL

First i thought that Chicago 1945 was the demo but Bruce Swedien said something like this, '' We did the smooth criminal demo in barry gibbs studio and i named it Al Capone. '' Im trying to find the quote..
