(22-4-2008) In an interview with the Salzburger Nachrichten (Austrian newspaper), French Academy award-wining director Michael Gondry, who has worked on many feature films and also music videos (Björk, Massive Attack, Rolling Stones, Kylie Minogue..) talked amongst other things about Michael Jackson:

SN: For which artist would you currently like to make a music video?
Gondry: It would prefer Michael Jackson! I still think he is the King of Pop.

i'd love a Gondry-directed short film or even documentary for Mike.

Well, whoever he may be, he is one hundred percent RIGHT!

I think every person in the music industry would want a chance to work with Michael!!!!

Oh the joys it must bring *sigh* :)

Hint-Hint, Nudge-Nudge Wink-Wink, the wheels are turning....

I have no idea who he is. Glad he spoke positively about MJ. But he could also be trying to work with MJ, hoping he hears what nice things he's said about him. Although MJ wont hire someone unless he likes there work anyway.

I have said this many times...I really want them to work togheter!..it will be amazing!!!!

I have all his videos on DVD...and they are really good. tommorrow I will find them and post them here...he is very crative

You don't need to still think he is cus if people can call elvis the king of rock and roll 3 decades after his passing then they can still call MJ the KOP.

He's made a lot of way cool vids for Bjork, among others.

I second the motion that he should hook up with MJ for a vid.

I couldn't quite work out who he was :(

I then noticed the Around the World video, yes now I know :p

Would be pretty sweet if the two do end up working together...
