From MJTLS @ MaxJax:
Citation:I asked Michael Bush if he was working with Michael and this was his response:

Hello, yes Michael got me really busy, are you able to attend concerts in London??? yes 4 years time flies

Karen wrote this on her Facebook page:

running into all the MJJ tour alumni...and meeting all the newbies too. London is going to be AMAZING!!!! THIS IS IT!!!!!!

absolutely No comment

*thinks a minute**

well, technically that was a comment in itself ... one that speaks volumes :innocent:
**covers mouth**
OOPS !! heheeee

Isn't Michael Bush the man that has done his clothes for him over the years? I don't recall ever hearing that he died. The way Michael Bush responded that Michael has him busy could be interpreted that Bush is busy doing a wardrobe I guess, maybe. Karen's reply doesn't appear to say anything confirming that she is back on the team, only that she's been running into people from former tours and new ones onboard for This Is It. Last I heard she lives in Calif so that could be what she meant, at least that's how I took it.

All these little tidbits here and there, but not a whole lot of things that appear to be absolute.

Promoter: Michael Jackson 'as healthy as can be'

Michael Jackson gestures to the crowd at the March
announcement for his series of London concerts.

(CNN) -- Contrary to a report in a British newspaper, Michael Jackson does not have skin cancer, says Randy Phillips, president and CEO of AEG Live, the promoter of the King of Pop's upcoming concerts at London's 02 Arena.

"He's as healthy as he can be -- no health problems whatsoever," the executive told CNN.

Phillips said he asked Jackson point-blank about the skin cancer rumor yesterday, and the entertainer just brushed it off and laughed.

"He's used to rumors like this. He's been famous ever since he was 5. He doesn't read the newspapers or watch news reports," Phillips explained.

He also had an answer for an item in the British tabloid The Sun that said Jackson had been "making regular trips to a dermatologist in Beverly Hills wearing a mask and surgical cap."

"Michael is very close friends with his dermatologist. It's as simple as that," said Phillips.

According to Phillips, the 50-year-old pop star had passed a stringent physical exam before he and AEG inked their deal for Jackson to headline a 50-show residency at 02 beginning July 8. "And he'll have to take another before the shows start," he offered.

Phillips also told CNN a tour with sister Janet Jackson and other performing members of the Jackson family was "never in the works, at least from Michael Jackson's side."

He added, "Never say never, but right now, he's focusing on his own show. It's not about his family."

"He's working out every day with his choreographers and his dancers. He's in better shape at 50 than I was at 30," Phillips laughed.

Phillips took the opportunity to knock down a couple of other rumors. "For now, he has no plans for his kids to be in the show. And there are no elephants. No elephants in the show, and he's not dying of cancer."

Phillips said the London shows were the first step in a multi-phase package with Jackson that he called "more than a 360-degree deal."

He said there are also plans for recorded music and movies, including a 3-D live concert film and a 3-D movie based on Jackson's 1983 "Thriller" music video.

Phillips didn't rule out a tour or a concert residency in another city, stating it would most likely start in Europe, then roll out to Asia, North America and South America.

Thanks for posting... I never believed the skin cancer story anyway. I'm just amazed at how far the rumour has gotten  They were reporting it on the national news! You would think they would check the source first before they mention the story on a respected news program

Oh, and did I just read that they are going to produce a 3-D version of the concert?! :wild:

Thanks to all for the mentionings. Thanks for that article, Troubleman. "Never say never..." Well, I'm saying it. NEVER...at least until we hear otherwise directly from MJ's mouth...at a press conference. lol AND I really wish people would just stop bringing the reunion talk up for speculation. Sooooo tiring now.

He said there are also plans for recorded music and movies, including a 3-D live concert film
:wild::wild::wild: fantastic

"Michael is very close friends with his dermatologist. It's as simple as that," said Phillips.
funny explanation

No elephants? No elephants or David Copperfield..? Is he serious?!

^^ Yes he serious, what, did you actually BELIEVE that?

And I doubt we'll see Criss Angel either, he's working with another "magician" anyways.

"Michael is very close friends with his dermatologist"

detractors might see this and act like they never saw this statement. it's certainly been the case in the past, with the other rumors.

where does this horrible sport come from?; deriving their own imagined negative conclusions from personal fantasy-based rumors, in order to make themselves feel better?

Thanx for posting!

Phillips said he asked Jackson point-blank about the skin cancer rumor yesterday, and the entertainer just brushed it off and laughed.
"He's working out every day with his choreographers and his dancers. He's in better shape at 50 than I was at 30," Phillips laughed.
I esp. like these two parts. I believe, early in his entire career, MJ learned to laugh it off and keep on doin his thing when these haters spread rumors about his health. And I know Randy Phillips was not exaggerating when saying the bolded part. Good to see him speaking up.
