Michael Jackson Thriller Casino Slated for Las Vegas

When it comes to anything that Michael Jackson touches, difficulties and peculiarities are never far behind. And it’s certainly taken a toll on the iconic performer. But never one to back down from controversy, Jackson always finds a way to capitalize on his own brand. His latest venture? The undisputed King of Pop is in discussions to open a new Las Vegas casino next year, entirely themed on his 1982 international breakthrough song, Thriller.

The headline, lawsuit and debt magnet is actively seeking out new ways to generate income based on his incalculable global following. The casino idea comes on the back of his 50-date UK tour, a brand new album and several films, all of which are planned to materialize over the next 12 months. Never a dull moment in the Jackson camp. But it’s a form of necessity as he is quoted to owe an estimated $100 to $300 million.

The Thriller casino will replicate sets from the hit song Thriller, from the multi-platinum-award-winning album of the same name, and will feature zombies behind slot machines and “the living dead” roaming round the casino at night.

awww can't believe how almost 4 years had passed !!! it's like yesterday really :D

i heard that a new MJ Single Will Drop June 20th , any thoughts ?? is it real or just another rumor

well..i know that las vegas report is irresponsible. among the other off things they say, they talk about plans for films and multiple albums and such. they'll get people talking about stuff that may not happen. MJ only committed to london. they need to chill on getting ahead of themselves, before they get fans in a tizzy.

MJ was in talks about building a hotel and casino a few years ago, so you never know there might some truth in it.

Love the casino idea...that would be so awesome! :wild:

I'd probably develop a gambling addiction. LOL Couldn't you just imagine the slot machines?

"HOLY ****!!! THREE SEQUIN GLOVES!!! I WIN!!!" :D

omg could u imagine four yrs ago thinking we were about to embark on a historic record selling and soon to b ereacord breaking tour/residency w/ a potential casino deal in the works?

i know i wasn't

The casino thing made me laugh and laugh for some reason. Can you imagine the guy in the Thriller video whose arm falls off walking on the casino floor...and then his arm just falls off? lmfao! Or the guy with all the black crud in his mouth doing that move in your face everytime you lost a game? Will all the zombie dealers/employees be required to break out into the Thriller dance at certain times each day? LOL!

Interesting idea...and amusing. lol

Thanks to all for posting the news and mentionings.
