Michael Jackson Action Offers Life-Size Batman costume, Superman and Spiderman Statues

MTV

If you’ve ever wondered what Michael Jackson’s yard sale would look like, there’s an auction at the Beverly Hills Hilton kicking off in April that should answer all of your questions. The King of Pop’s estate has a dumbfoundingly large catalog of geek goodies going up on the auction block — and a few items clearly show that Jackson has a sweet tooth for superheroes. In addition to life-size statues of Batman, Spider-Man and Superman, the Julien’s Auctions list of items up for bidding includes a signed Alex Ross print, a 1988 print displaying all of Marvel Comics’ characters, and signed polychrome Randy Bowen statues. There’s even a life-size molded rubber Batman costume fitted over a replica of Michael Jackson — a two-for-one deal, perhaps? (We’ve posted a few images from the auction after the jump.) The site also has stunning rundown of vintage arcade machines owned by the reclusive pop icon, including an original 6-player “X-Men” arcade cabinet and a “Marvel Vs. Capcom” cabinet. That means that for opening bids of 1,000 dollars or so, a few lucky comics fans could have the chance to not only entertain their friends on classic arcade games, but do so with the knowledge that they’re playing on games previously owned by the Moonwalker himself.

Shopping Buddies: Michael Jackson & Christian Audigier on Rodeo

When I was a teenager there were a couple of things I wanted to do if I ever moved to California. 1) Shop on Rodeo and 2) meet Michael Jackson. (I’d already been to Disneyland.) Well this dream still hasn’t come true for me but a few lucky people got to see the King of Pop shop on Rodeo Drive last night (Friday, February 27).

Paparazzi flocked around the “Thriller” singer as he and his shopping companion designer Christian Audigier made their rounds to Dolce & Gabbana and Dior. (Wait, is that an Ed Hardy t-shirt Michael is wearing? Cute.) As previously reported, Jackson will be having an estate auction at the Beverly Hills Hilton this coming April. A few things on the auction block include life-size statues of Superman, Batman and Spider-Man. There’s even a molded rubber Batman costume fitted over a replica of the King of Pop, and an original X-Men arcade game.

Michael Jackson falls for A R Rahman?

NDTV.com

"I chose to live a life overriding differences between people, states, language and religion. My fans should do the same. Hollywood stars Michael Jackson and Penelope Cruz liked this attitude and told me its inherent love affected them deeply," Rahman said.

It falls to the foursome that is runner-up act JLS to get the show started with the Michael Jackson song The Way You Make Me Feel. They are flanked, momentarily, by the surprisingly talented Signature (turban, broom, ***** ***** costume) who provide a bhangra-beat celebration of the former Prince of Pop.

Kanye West Defends Chris Brown

Celebrity Cafe

“Can’t we give Chris a break?” Kanye asked the audience of Storytellers. “I know I make mistakes in life.” According to Reuters, the audience applauded loudly after these comments, prompting Kanye to support other dubious performers such as Michael Jackson, Michael Phelps, and O. J. Simpson. “Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing. . . . He’s a real f***in’ person; he makes mistakes. O. J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing, though?” he said.

Michael Jackson Working On "All Kinds" of New Music

Today 10:20 AM PST by Josh Grossberg

Taking a break from a shopping excursion on Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive, Michael Jackson exclusively revealed to E! News that he's "constantly" working on new songs, some of which he might debut on his in-the-works world tour.
The erstwhile King of Pop said he bought "many nice things" while shopping Friday with pal Christian Dior for about 45 minutes at the latter's namesake store, after which the two beat it over to Dolce & Gabana for another spree.
Jackson, who has recently taken up residence in Beverly Hills, said he had "all kinds of titles" in the works, but did not elaborate.
The Gloved One's rep said Jackson is preparing "both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances"—his first live public performances since his 20th anniversary solo show at New York's Madison Square Garden in 2001 and his last tour in 1996.
The former hitmaker has also sealed a deal with the Nederlander to stage a Broadway musical based on Thriller.

I just rechecked the eonline link and Christian Dior has now been corrected to Christian "Audiger", although it's still wrong because the correct spelling is "Audigier". Bet the person that wrote the first statement is getting some heat/ribbing for the Christian Dior mistake. And then corrects it but misspells it-

Now this, hearing it from Michael himself, I can finally believe that something is in the works.

It's nice to see him in normal clothes without anything weird haha

and he looks happy :)

i like hair! i like to see that the fedoras back too :)

This is good news :)

Working on new music consantly, huh? We'll see. It must be for his own enjoyment, because we ain't heard nothin'.

 You aint right! Lol!

Love you MichOoOoooo!!

Dorothy, that auto start on the video tripped me out.
Just so happened that I had my speakers on.

He has the voice of an angel. So young, beautiful and pure. Thanks for posting this video.

Good to see Michael's in good shape. Good to see a public appearance without the pyama's, too. I'm confident we'll get new material any time now... just hoping it will be worth the long wait. But if Michael manages to convince me and blow the world away with his new music, I'm forever thankful. Better some good new stuff after a loooong while than much crap every little while. I'm keeping the faith Michael, just take your time and don't do anything too rushed.
