I'm wondering if there is a name for a move MJ does. It's from Billie Jean (shocking) He did during his victory tour and he does it on his bad tour during the first leg. It's the last move where he slides his feet and moves around in a circle. Does it have a name?

The one I most remember is from Bad Tour Yokohama and I still get hypnotised by how he does that diaginal movement with his feet :mello:

Its popularly known as the circle glide. Its basically a sidewalk in circles, its suprisingly easy to do. Of course nobody does it like Michael though and he perfected it.

The only time I think he used that again was in 1999 at his MJ and Friends concert, he did it for like a second.

Yeah it is easy to do, but for some reason iThink he does it once during the HIStory tour. iRemember seeing a video on youtube where it looked like him doing it but the video was amateur recorded and the person didn't keep still during that part so iCouldn't actually see.

umm! he does the move on every billie jean (aside from motown) after he doesthe points to each side a few times durring the dance section.. he does it 3 basic ways that are vertually the same move.. 1) small ridged movement which looks more like a circle.. 2) same movement but larger strides which creates more like an oval shape.. 3) sometimes he attempts to do it the 'other direction' which creates a complete different look because he is used to going counter clockwise..

style 1: @ 6:54 (circle)

Style 2: @ 1:08

style 3: @ 5:45 (clockwise)

Michael usually pushes off with the right leg to do the circular glyde but when he goes clockwise its unatural for him to switch it to push with his left instead so he swings his right foward to give the inertia possible to turn his body as he the left foot is spun...

the first two are really the axact same movement, just bigger/smaller.. yes I know on style 2 in that specific video he looks like he moved foward but that was just by planting his feet earlier which is more infront of him which when he pulls the other leg into position he's in a different spot.. IDK if I am explaining this well but I've been doing these moves since I was basically a fedus lol!!

He even does a 3/4th circle glyde in most billie jeans after the second moonwalk..

Now this move is derived from boogaloo as specific moves evolved came ouit the airwalk, and different glydes which are basically the same concept of weight distribution just different placements

There are indeed different types of styles but his original styles from the bad/victory tour slowly faded away. :(
iGuess iDon't really count style 1 as the circle glide IMO.

:p I can moonwalk and do the side slide but the circle slide and the 5 spins are the things I just can't do.

Once I did 4 spins but nobody was there to watch me, except my brother who thinks I'm an incredible dancer because of that
