MJ's 50th Coming to a theater near you! (...If you're in Austin, TX)

So I was surprised to see a Madonna sing-a-long coming up at a local theater near me, only to find that I missed the MJ show ( http://www.coolidge.org/node/1733 ) back in April cuz I wasn't around! :teary_eyed: (I include the link in case anyone wants to look at the description - they even included Captain EO! How cool is that! :wild: I'm so sad I missed it :boohoo: .) Anyways, it led me to this:

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (which looks like a really awesome theater!) is throwing a MJ 50th Birthday Bash on his birthday! They're also throwing Prince & Madonna ones too, but the best part is that they're including MJ sing-alongs in their calander through October when they'll invite everyone back to take part of Thrill the World. That sounds frigging amazing, so I hope you Austin-ites take part! I think know this event has been mentioned before (http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45535&highlight=Alamo), but I thought since Aug. 29th is only a month away, it warranted a reminder . unk:That sounds like a lot of fun! I will be in that vincity in August but I will be there before the 29th of August. I am going to San Antonio on family vacation but will truly miss this. :no: Whoever goes I hope you have fun! By the way I am a Texan if you haven't noticed my location before for those of you who are in Texas.
