Hello everyone,
I’d love to get some feedback! I’ve been working on an online archive that’s kind of inspired by Netflix.
It’s designed for streaming only — no downloads — and it doesn’t include music videos or short films. Instead, those link directly to the official YouTube uploads.

Right now, this is a beta version, and only five videos are available so far: Wembley ’88, Copenhagen ’92, Oslo ’92, Bremen ’92, and Rome ’88.
I haven’t tested it on Smart TV browsers yet, but I suspect the videos might not play there.
This is a non-profit project, purely for archiving what we’ve collected here and in other forums.

@shadowgamesmedia is helping me to gather/archive all the material and also he is paying for the Hoster right now. To upload these amounts of gigabytes actually is not free.


If people like the idea, I’d really appreciate some help with gathering and uploading more videos!

PS: only the sites HOME, LIVE & SHORT-FILMS are working for now.

NOT YET BUILT FOR MOBILE-DEVICES (it will look shitty)

For concert stuff, I recommend checking out the K MJ Discord server, there are a lot of dedicated people there when it comes to that kind of thing. I watched a bit of the Wembley show and noticed that it looks pretty compressed. I’m not sure how you host these or if there are any limitations, but if it’s going to look this compressed, it’s no better than watching it on YouTube.

the wembley file indeed is not the correct one yet ;) i am using mux for the videos and it shows the videos in its original quality (well not if you have bad speed). The wembley file definitely needs to be replaced.

Ah, that makes sense. I would also strongly suggest you use corresponding photos with the live shows. K MJ's server would also would be a big help when it comes to that.
 
What's the aspect ratio and/or size needed for the thumbnails? I can look up my collection and provide accurate photos from each concert (source file or edited ready to be used).
 
Nice project and a lot of work you put in there 🔥. I could also help with creating Thumbnails if necessary - basically everything that is about editing pictures.

I think a group message here in the forum would be the easiest way, because not everyone has the same messaging apps 🤷.

There is no chat function for groups available here. But I think it would be good enough to distribute the different tasks 🤷.
 
Others have already given you solid suggestions on how to source the concerts, so my tip would be to tweak the thumbnails a bit. Bebas Neue could work as a font, but right now the sizing feels inconsistent, short words look huge, while longer ones end up cramped. I'd set a fixed cap for the font size across all graphics.

If you can find someone to make more stylized and varied graphics for each concert, even better! :)

This is the best idea I’ve heard in a long time! Kudos to you Kai. I back this 100%

just a suggestion but maybe it would be cleaner to divide them into eras instead of having everything grouped together?

if you go on live you can choose "tours" and you'll have a list there.

Well it feels like making an ai upscale takes a lot longer then just deinterlacing the original files, same with yokohama and brisbane.
