Tribute Project for Michael from the Fans :love:

So we were chatting in the MJ chat boards and alot of came up with an idea to make a tribute video following the same format as this video:

The song that we choose is Will you be there (unless you have a better suggestion for a song, I thought the end seemed to be a good message that we will always be there for Michael) So what you need to do is pick a word and take a picture of you holding the phrase up. If you just take a picture of the sign, thats fine too but I want to show as many people as possible! :) You can make a digital picture if you wish instead. You can be as creative as you like with this. Dress like MJ, show something off special, anything that would make Michael happy. When its finished I will be uploading it to my youtube account. You dont have to be a member at MJJC to join, if you have friends or family that wants to join thats great too! What do you guys think? I am assigning phrases.

This was going to be my gift to MJ for his 51st birthday. As a matter of fact I posted the idea in a different thread June 24th..just a day before you know. But we can still do this for Michael, he would be so proud of us!!

Sounds good, but what should we hold up? Maybe you could make up some sort of phrase containing 200 words and we could each pick a word and you could assign a word to that specific person.

We are still deciding if we picked the right song lol. I posted the lyrics above. I guess its a work in progress. I think we should do something like this as a community though to unite.

That's an awesome idea.:clapping:
As per the song, it's perfect but I'd change the final 'I'll.....my heart' lyrics to 'WE'll.....our hearts'. Just the final sentence. :)

I'd love to do this. But I think you should assign a word to everyone who's in, so there aren't any words that are picked by several people.

If I have to choose a word, I'd like to have 'Confessions'

I'm in! :D And I think Will You Be There is a great song to pick!
Maybe it's easy when you just make a list of everyone and then give the people a word, so put the word behind the name.

And I'd like to do the word 'faithful' or 'heart'! :)

This sounds really cool. I'm in too :). I don't exactly have a word preference - but if we could pick, then I think I'd really like 'sorrow'.

Im so happy you all like my idea. ok so Im going to start assigning names next to the words. If there is a certain word you want let me know I have already taken your considerations.. :) Tell your friends/family members. We have plenty of words to go around :)

Can I have the word "Friend"?
I think that you should put the username of the person who picked a word next to the word in your original post, so that we know what's been taken and what hasn't..

What do you think of sometimes grouping some words together... for example one person can have "You are my" and then the next person finishes off with "friend"...Just alternative with one word each, a few words each, etc.

yes. We could also do that too. Should I use the same person for the same words or have different people? I think the more people the better. I will be in the chatroom tonight if anyone wants to help with more plans. I will update original post soon

I say we use different people for different words...

Another idea: towards the end of the song, what if we put in our own messages, like "We miss you Michael", "We love you", etc.

What time will you be in the chatroom?

yes thats a nice idea to put our messages at the end. We can hold up really creative things too like something that reminds you of MJ with the word.

I've always wanted a tattoo, just didn't know where I'd put it. I would love to have something to commemorate MJ by. I'd want to do it on his birthday. :)
