I'm thinking about buying this book, since its available in my country and its in portuguese.

Should I buy this book?

I wouldn't buy it - rather get it from the library. I would say that it's worth a read, but not worth buying. Unless you can get it for really cheap or you read it first and decide that you like it and want it.

Some stuff are really cool, some fun facts i didnt know...but the trial part let me jawdropped...ridiculous stuff.
if you are a collector, its a good item, and if u read it, dont believe everything thats written there...;)

i have the 1st edition...its good
i read from jetzi.com the other version i think...the one that covered the 1993 parts...its really good, ignore its fact or fiction....but i cannot find the link anymore
i think about buy that book....but i dunno, which cover it is?

I actually would not BUY if it is available at your library. If it is not, then yes, I would buy it. Just be careful. Apparantly the 1st edition is the "good" one, however, still don't believe EVERYTHING in there. They say the later editions are nothing but trash and lies.

I read the 1st edition. It's a long book, but a quick read. The author did a good job of capturing and keeping th readers' attention. Much is based off of speculation and 3rd party "knowledge", however, so be careful and take it all as a grain of salt.

READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only the first version though- it's the best one

Thanks for answering everybody!!! :cheeky:

Now I'm confused... aw! lol! Yeah I'm gonna search for it at the library, but I doubt I'll find it (small town). If there's a link for me to read a bit of it, pls send me!
I didnt know there are more than one version! :bugeyed lol! Please post a pic of the cover of the 1st version, ok?

Thanks everybodyyyy! :cheeky:

yeh its a cool read!! u shuld def buy it..... BUT like everyone has said, DO NOT BELIEVE everythin u read in it :) xx

Thank you Sophia!! :)

But you know what.... I was thinking... If there are things that is not true, I dont feel like reading it. Because I will not know what is true and what is not... You know what I mean?

Aw I'm still not sure!! :p

The trial part made me sick...it was disgusting....specially the part about Jordie, but there are some curious stuff like the past of the Arvizo family, what their mother used to do to make some easy money...

if you find it at a good price, buy it, but be prepared...

how much was it when u saw it? about 60 bucks?

yeah, I have the book (1rst edition). It's ok, but I found a great deal of things in that book to be unfounded. It is good reading if you want to look at it from a fictional standpoint.

So there is a post-trial version of this book? Are you sure? I know only about 1991 1996 and 2003 edition.

it's a good read. some interesting facts, but some rumours are regarded as fact in there, but it's easy to spot them :p

I got the book last week when I got home from work, it was a 2003 Edition that I have and yeah I don't find some of these stories very accuate, for example Michael's brothers were pissed off at Michael for announcing his departure and final show of the Victory Tour and when he says "GD" twice, as in taking god's name in vain, that what he said bothers me and he never talks like that, just becasue he's upset. But still it's a very good book and I still love it even if some the details I don't find accuate.

I bought the original one back in 1991 when it came out and I thought it was a pretty good book. I have the new edition of it too but I think the original was better. It's still a good read but I don't necessarily think that everything in it is the gospel truth. Like in the new edition, Taraborelli says that "Lisa Marie told me"....and then an exact quote from one of Lisa's magazine interviews follows. So yeah...it's a good read, but take it with a grain of salt.
