I don't know if there already is a thread like this...I hope not...
I just saw the movie "21" today. I was watching it...when at one point when the guys are playing basketball this voice almost "whispers" "I'm invincible!". And since it was almost like just a whisper, I kind of sat up and was like "Was that really from the movie? Am I imagining things? Didn't he just say INVINCIBLE??!!" :wild: :lmao: :lmao:
So that was the first thing I noticed. And of course, after that...when ever there was something even SLIGHTLY MJ related, I'd notice it instantly and just ended up thinking about all these MJ things! :lol: Like...the main character's name was BEN. :lol: So when ever they'd go "BEN...blah blah blah"...I was going "BEN...the two of us need look no mooooore....." in my mind, because of MJ's song "Ben". :lol:
Then at one point "Ben" and one other guy were walking in this dark hallway and Ben goes "Where're we going?" and the other guy goes "You'll see..." and I instantly had "I WANNA SEE SOME RATS" and teh whole Moonwalker scene in my head and I had to bite my tongue so that I won't start laughing out loud at my own reactions! :lmao:
Then later on they were in this one bar...and there was music playing in teh background...And it was some song where they kept singing "Dangerous....dangerous...she was so dangerous...dangerous..." And of course again...I was sitting there and grinning and thinking "DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!! That's MJ's song!! *singing in her mind* Dangerous...The girl is so DANGEROUS...." :hysterical:
And then there was one scene where they go into this club...and tehy enter through this really shiny red "tunnel" type of thing. And I was like "OMG, That looks SO COOL!!! And that is EXACTLY what I had in mind for MJ's 2000 Watts video!!! You know, I always thought I'd love to see MJ do a really "futuristic" video for 2000 Watts, and I thought the video shoudl be filmed in a club that looks totally cool. And when I saw teh "red tunnel"...I was like "THAT'S IT!!!"...and I couldn't help but to imagine MJ in that "tunnel" in some hot, tight, outfit and dancing to his song. Ah, it would have looked HOT!!
Anyways...so I just had to laugh at myself when I noticed myself noticing all these MJ related things. Am I a true fan or not?! :hysterical::hysterical: (One of the producers of that movie "21" was Brett Ratner by the way...)
Last weekend I had friends (an "older couple"...they're not really old, but older than me...and the guy is like my 2nd dad) visiting me and I showed them the city and then on Saturday we went shopping. So I and the lady were in this one shoe store while her husband waited for us in one restaurant (because he thought shopping is boring (men! :lol
)...so we're looking at shoes...and all of teh sudden I notice MJ's "Wanna be startin' somethin'" and I'm like "OMG, that is MICHAEL JACKSON'S song!!! Do you hear that??! Can you hear the music?? That is MICHAEL JACKSON!!". And the lady was just like "Mmmhhmmm....."*looking at shoes* And I was poking at her and going "THAT'S MICHAEL JACKSON'S SONG!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!"...and since you could hear the song better at the other end of the store I was like "I gotta go look at the shoes over there...you can hear the song better there!"...and she just had to laugh. :lol: So then we left and went to the restaurant where her husband was waiting for us and he was like "Did you guys get lost or something!! What took you so long?!" and the lady was like "They were playing Michael Jackson's music in the store so we couldn't leave until the song was finished.." And I was like ---->
