MJ fans' second favourite artist (prince? SCARY coincidences)

I don't know many of Princes songs therefore don't care about him :p!
 
My 2nd fave is either Shakira or Janet.

Mostly leaning on Janet.
 
I've often found that alot of MJ fans second favorite artist is Stevie Wonder
 
theres no other artist's albums that i know and love as much as michael's. honest truth. so i would have to say motown in general i.e. particular songs
 
Well, then I'm different. I've always liked Boy George. In fact I liked him better than Michael when growing up. I don't agree with Boy George's sexual orientation, but I still like him, the man and his amazing voice and his amazing eyes! He has sung songs better than the original singers themselves. I listened to him today and he helped me out. George always helps me out.

Prince is my second favorite artist after Michael, but I too have noticed that a lot of MJ fans seem to be big Queen fans.
 
Stevie Wonder is the best singer alive today, now that Michael is gone :(

Prince was a one hit wonder with purple rain in the 80's, so I dont really care about him.

two of my favorites outside the ultimate realm of Michael. I like Journey too....actually I'm starting to hear more music from 'back in the day' and I'm trying to hear and learn about all I can! I've always been more of a fan of older music, but now I'm listening to more thatn just what I put on my ipod. And thanks to MJ I'm really learning about and liking ppl like the Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, etc...
It's so much fun to me to learn about all this music.

One hit wonder? If that's the case, nobody would be talking about him. Nobody talks about or makes threads about Johnny Hates Jazz, an actual "one hit" group. Prince has a 3 CD hits album, and all of them aren't even on there.
 
My 2nd favorite artist is James Brown.. I adore him as well
 
Oh i like so many artists so its hard to choose a second best,being a brit i do tend to be more drawn to brit acts, David Bowie is great as were Queen but i have to say at the moment if i'm not listening to Michael's music then i am listening to Aussie Darren Hayes (ex savage garden front man).
his voice is amazing and his vocal range is awesome.

hmmm.. my second choice would have to be Meat Loaf he has always been one 1 on my top 5 :)
 
Second for me is definitely Janet. I'm not sure exactly where I'd rank Prince, but he would be in the top ten.

Stevie Wonder ( I couldn't live without his music)
Janet (not just because she's MJ's sister)

I also like
Queen, Lenny Kravitz, and many others...

I'm not that familiar with Prince's songs. I just know the singles ... I like some of his stuff, I think he is talented but I don't like his falsetto.
 
i love prince, Janet, Stevie..its hard to really say who my second fave artist is really...favorite artist of the current times is Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell and NERD, Kanye, M.I.A, Santogold and others along those lines :)

Michael Jackson has always been #1 tho...I've never played any games when it came to him
 
Prince isn't mine. I love Diana Ross (I guess you could say she's my second), The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Jacksons, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and James Brown. Yeah, I have old ears :) but I listen to new stuff sometimes too.
 
As much as I like Prince I wouldn't call him my 2nd favourite artist, he's definetly in the top 10 though.


The 2nd place is taken by Stevie Wonder, George Michael & Queen.

Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan and The Smiths, then The Cure etc.

I like Prince a lot, I just cant say I own any of his music.
