It's been a while since I've drawn because I've always been so busy with school.
But, a few days ago, I saw some MJ drawings and they made me want to draw again :D
I finished this drawing yesterday:

The picture is a bit blurry because the lighing was bad but you can see the drawing anyway :)
I felt a bit 'rusty' because it's been so long since I've drawn and I think I over-did the shading on the shirt at first and at the bottom I got tired of it so the bottom looks a bit messy LOL.
But all-in-all I think it turned out okay and I had a lot of fun with it !
Oh, I only used a HBnr.2 pencil( I used to have 3 special pencils for drawing but I can't find them anymore), an eraser and some paper I foun in my room:) (The paper is actually too thin to really draw ... I'll buy proper paper one day :))

Greets, Raïsa

P.S.: advice is still very wellcome :cheeky:

That is really really good!

I wish I had a talent like that :/

I'm sure he would love it if you were to show him :D.

ummm. WOW. I just don't get it. HOW do you people draw so wonderfully and so REAL?? I'm lucky to draw stick figures, lol.

Such wonderful gifts. Keep it up.

there is one of the didka drawings, where MJ's eyes just STARE and pierce you to your very heart and soul. Did a fantastic job of capturing the essence of his eyes.

Raisa, your MJ drawing is done exceptionally well. You have managed to make the shirt sleeves look like satin. Material is so difficult to get right. His smile is great. You did wonderfully on this.

Now, also, the other drawings posted in here are awesome, as well. That individual is a talented artist. I enjoyed seeing their work. I had done a few portraits with pastels years ago, and I remember how hard it was. So kudos to them.

I really like Didka's drawings too!! I never tried doing coloured drawings...
I put some charcoal.... ?stuff?:cheeky: on my wishlist for christmas too:D
I can't wait to get started with that :D too bad I'm always so busy!! I could draw all day!

i dont draw much b/c it take so much painstaking time of shaping, shading, earasing, reshading..its worth it when youre done tho! i dont think im that great(youre def better then me Raisa :) )but ill try to post mine sometime ^_^

Brilliant, Raisa! How do you do the teeth?!
thank you!
I always try not to 'seperate' the teeth too much because it'll look like rotten teeth or like he's got huge gaps between his teeth although you only draw a little line between them.
Although teeth should be white, you can sometimes see some shading on the teeth and I try to do some shading on the teeth because it makes them look more real.
I just always try to draw what I see :)
