I accidentally came across this sweet clip from a 1970's film called "Free To Be...You And Me". Now, only us old people will recall the 70's album of the same name that was created by Marlo Thomas with an all star line up (my sister and I got it as a gift - now I have it on CD). Unfortunately, MJ was not on the album.

MJ's voice is so angelic in this clip. And hearing this song brings back sweet childhood memories. In the album this song was performed by Diana Ross but I think they should have had Michael sing it as a duet with her. Or just him solo!

Any other old timer's here who remember this?

Wow.. those videos :)

They show off Michaels 'in between Little Michael and Off The Wall Michael' voice. Tbh im not a fan of it but it shows just how his voice matured through his age.

This song reminded me of another MJ song from the 70's, 'When I Come Of Age'.

'When I Grow Up' is a great find, it now has a place in my personal MJ Rarities collection.

Thank you for posting it Suzy.

Oh, that's beautiful. It's just amazing what he could do at such a young age. What a gift. Still can't believe he's gone..

loved that clip and song so much...

But looking at it now is so bittersweet...Michael carried the message of that song throughout his whole life.

By the way, he looookkkssss so ADORABLE....
