I always knew about the whole "chamon" thing, but after having a kid who is OBSESSED with Cars (the movie) for some reason I always got "Kachoww" (if you have seen Cars you will know what I'm talking about) and Chamon mixed up. So when reading my son his Cars book I would said "Chamonnnn" yeah okay that's my dork story.

I love the "embassy on the loose" (where did it go, damn it!), .:wild:

I was pretty young and was only taking English in school- and our English classes were horrific to say the least. Our English teacher was a novice to the English language herself and only 2 lessons ahead of us...:hysterical:

So my interpretation of Michael Jackson lyrics left much to be desired.

For a long time I was left dumb founded why he would be singing about marmelade, preserves- JAM!

In "Smooth Criminal" I just could not understand why he would be singing a song about roof repairs- shingles...:bugeyed:scratch:
But it seems like a lot of people understand something like shindles/shingles.

"Give in to me" to me was always "give it to me"- I always thought, alrighty then, he knows what he wants, not that there's that much of a difference between "give in to me" and "give it to me." :woohoo:

"Beat it" left me equally bewildered since I had no clue that it was a saying- I always pictured part of the Black and White video with Michael smashing up that car- I figured "beat it" would have been the better song for totaling that car...

Actually studying english helped a lot...
 
I think native english speakers do get mixed up with MJ songs at times. As Myself.
