Ok, so I have a few questions about the 2300 Jackson Street album and Michael's Involvement on it..

1. Is it known what songs Michael helped write on the album? I know for sure that he contributed to making 2300 Jackson Street (song) but how about the rest?

2. Is it known if there is versions of the any of the songs on the album that have only Michael singing the whole songs? I would love to hear a Michael version of "If You'd Only Believe"..

A side note - When you look up who wrote the songs it just comes up as "The Jacksons" which would mean Michael as well, right?

Other than singing on the title track, neither Mike nor Marlon had anything to do with the album. The song 2300 Jackson Street was written by Jermaine, Jackie, Tito, Randy, Gene Griffin, and Aaron Hall. Aaron was the lead singer of the group Guy. The song was produced by The Jacksons, Teddy Riley, & Gene Griffin. If you know the history of Guy & Gene Griffin, then he most likely didn't do much if anything. He just used to stick his name on stuff Teddy did. If You'd Only Believe was written by Billie Hughes, Roxanne Seeman, & Jermaine Jackson and produced by Michael Omartian and the 4 Jackson brothers. Randy released a solo album around the same time this album came out with his band The Gypsys, so he didn't participate in some of the promotion of the 2300 Jackson Street album. If you find TV show clips from the period, it's just Jackie, Jermaine, and Tito. Mike asked Epic/CBS to fully promote the record, but they just sat on it for the most part. A few songs got some airplay on R&B stations like Nothin', 2300 Jackson Street, and She. Randy's album was on A&M Records, the same label Janet was on at the time.
