The following are Michael's handwritten notes previously mentioned by Taj Jackson. Currently there's an AEG motion stating that Jacksons want to use these notes during their closing statements and AEG is arguing these notes are hearsay and should not be allowed to be used. Some notes were added as exhibits to the motion.

I'm starting this thread so that everyone can see these handwritten notes easily.

disclaimer: I also typed the notes, there might be mistakes and at times I corrected for Michael's typos so please refer to the actual handwritten notes.

Here are the pictures of the notes

Those notes are sad.. MJ talking about REM sleep:(.. And Murray 'practicing'?? Murray didn't know what the hell he was doing. He knew MJ wasn't getting real sleep. He should've sent MJ to a sleep medical facility

I also find them sad because Michael had many dreams and plans he wanted to make come true but that bastard Conrat took them away. Probably I don't get it yet but I don't see how those notes could help the Jacksons.

Thank you. The comments about Thome creep me out to be honest. The Murray ones too. Just reading these show me Michael really was trying to get things back on track and in control. He had so many things he wanted to do. The one to his mom. Always looking out for her.

Poor Michael.. He really should've been seeing a sleep specialist or a psychiatrist.. Jotting down he needed 'rem' sleep means he needed help badly..

Note 9 is tragic, very very tragic. Michael talking about a drip and Conrad practicing.

yeah he was always looking out for her, but she didn't look out for him.. Her son had a sleeping disorder for years and years and she never got him help

Anyone see the Angelikson Productions paper he wrote on note 1?

The comments about Tohmey - very revealing IMO.

The rest is sad, tragic and should have sent out major warning signals - although do we know who saw these other than MJ himself? Do we know if these just constituted his own 'to do' list? If so, I increasingly fail to see why the Jacksons would even bring a claim against AEG - unless they can't read!

All those plans that didn't come to fruition... only consolation (though not for Michael's children) is that we probably have ended up with more than he might have been able to deliver given contractual wrangles that always seem to scuttle so many of his plans in the past!

Ivy, I thank you for posting these - it is a window into Michael's mindset at the time This Is It was in the planning etc. He really wanted to do things BIG in typicl MJ fashion, and he really wanted immortality. I wish he'd achieved it the way he wanted rather than via his posthumous legacy. :boohoo

But, poor consolation that it may be, at least we have that.

It seems he believed that with propofol he would get Rem sleep... :(

I think this was his to do list.. they weren't for anyone else.. Murray 'practicing' is what scares the hell out of me.. That fraud of a doctor had no clue about propofol but he was willing to lead MJ into a false sense of security for 'REM' sleep knowing good and well MJ wasn't sleeping, he was putting him into a drug induced coma:boohoo

I know.. And Murray's fraudulent behind knew good and well MJ wasn't getting REM sleep.. he was in a coma. Why didn't someone send MJ to a real sleep specialist??

I really don't find these notes sad at all, except maybe the Muarry one. To me these are very uplifting notes. It shows me that at that time he was making great Michael plans. The world looked good to him again and he was moving forward, in typical Michael fashion--writing down plans and sticking to them. It seems he had analyzed people and situations and he knows what he was supposed to get--where is my house/where is my money. He was thinking about who was shady and should be avoided. He had the word cautious showing he learned from past experiences that with certain things/people you have move to carefully and do some research. I am so glad he was able to do that and when he closed his eyes that night felt the rehearsals went well and I will continue with my plans. I loved those notes!!

Further, those notes prove he was not so stupid/fuddled minded/babyish/foolish as so many people like to sound when they talk about this poor Michael as though he was forced to do everything by AEG and did not know what was happening. This is an alert, business savvy person writing here.

I find note 9 is good for AEG, because he says hire Muarry. Then that information about Muarry to practice helps also because it is like a duty he wants Muarry to perform. I wish there were dates on these notes.

I find it great that he knew he needed rem sleep. However why he thought prof would give him that, unless Muarry was supposed to give him something else? What this shows me is that the reason why Muarry began using prof before Michael began the tour may have been for practice. I can't get this rem sleep out of my mind though. He knew prof would not give him that, so what was he talking about?

I think Michael had these notes around him when he died and certain people kept them. Why for heavens sake. Something like that belongs to his children, not to one of the T's. It is like my dad died, and some cousins come and take all his notes.

I guess AEG does not want them in because Michael is talking about making money, which AEG claims he would not make, and the comment about Philips is conflict. Yes I could see that about Philips.

^^Yes he had great ideas, and I think if nothing bad came in to intervene in the past, he would have done some rather exciting productions. These are great notes & should be cherished.

What about the note where he wrote "going to make big money" and some other things? I guess the family did not get their hands on that one?

Ivy do you know if they finished the arguments about this today or will they continue tomorrow?

He set the bar so high for himself that there was no way he could ever be satisfied with his achievements. It's good to be ambitious but MJ took it too far sometimes, to the point where his goals became unrealistic. I can only imagine that this sense of failure - of not being good enough as he was - contributed to his unhappiness.

I haven't followed the AEG trial so I'm not sure exactly what the Jacksons are claiming, but I don't see how these notes would help their case in any way.

Also, are these the notes that Rebbie or LaToya (or one of the other Jackson siblings) took from his home after MJ's death? I remember them speaking about this right after MJ died.

very sad... From listening to the testimony at the trial, AEG was going to take all the money and Mike wouldn't get a dime. Didn't AEG's expert say MJ wouldn't make much from TII??? so MJ was planning all of this but AEG had no intentions on doing any of it other than the shows which they claim MJ would only have made around 50 million dollars.

I think AEG were promising him all these deals just so he wouls stay with them and i reckon they never wanted to make these deals happen

Lindavg I don't want to argue, but that first paragraph sounds so ^^ wrong, almost dismissive of his potential. It is almost as though you are trying to colonize his consciousness. It seems that Michael is supposed to go this high because that is most comfortable for you and these other people over there.

He set the bar of what he wants very very high so that his results are high. We spoke about this in threads before about how this is the way Michael works due to books he read about how the billionaires made it. People do not understand that Michael is who he is. He will not be satisfied with thinking small, thinking ordinary, thinking the average. Let him be who and what he wants to be, and let's not belittle his efforts & plans.

Jaydom this is a trial, so of course AEG is going to say he was not going to do anything else after TII or that these plans may not happen. This does not mean that if Michael lived he would not continue with the movies or the plans. So you have to separate what AEG will say in a trial to diminish damages and what Michael and AEG would do if Michael lived.

Thanks Ivy.
It's amazing he was always concentrated on becoming immortal and the greatest, till the very end. And he is.

P.S. Note 1 written on Angelikson productions paper, what an irony!

I'm not dismissive of his potential, I'm just being realistic. Michael put so much pressure on himself by setting these goals that were simply impossible to achieve. Selling 100 million records for Bad, making 40 movie classics, becoming a multi-billionaire without any projects that could provide that much income, things like that. It makes me sad that he apparently never felt "good enough" just as he was. In the notes he says he must make films in order to immortalise himself, as if his musical legacy hadn't done that already.

Like I said, there's nothing wrong with being ambitious but Michael was always setting himself up for failure (in his eyes).

I agree Linda! MJ was already a legend.. there was no need to put that much pressure on himself. I actually think he should've scaled down his tour without all the glitz and glamour, but that is who he was, so he wanted all the bells, whistles and explosions. He could've sat on a stool singing Human Nature and The Lady in my Life 'live' and I would've been happy.

Very sad ... just that. Michael had a lot to accomplish. :( I just wish he was still here .... following with his life, being happy no matter how .... and alongside their children. For me, this is more important than new albums, tours and all that stuff .... *big sigh*

Excuse my ignorance :fear:, but what is TUT?

Even michael aint here to see it but cirque du solei have done fantastic in honuring michael through their shows so michael's wish did come true in the end :)

And I remember someone was bitching that MJ never wanted a Cirque du Soleil show...

King Tut - he wanted to make a movie about Tutankhamun, it was one of his favorite characters.

But that is your way, don't you get it. That is not what he wants. When the rich meet for business plans they do not put peanut projects out on the table; it is always projects that will bring in high rewards. There is no indication from the notes that he would do all these on one day. He is jotting down items. Some of them questions to himself; some ideas he wants into projects; some projects he is working on. No way in these notes do you see him claiming 100 million records for Bad. Further, number of records is a goal he has. He had a goal for Off the Wall & it did not happen. Did he lie down and die no.

We never heard Michael complain how his goals set him up for failure. That is your assessment of it^^. What he complained about was things that was done to him by others, not about the goals he set for himself. This has nothing to do with being ambitious, but more about a method of working. We are shown a number of notes he makes to himself and the first thing out is a negative response about the formulation of his own ideas. He did not even write down how these ideas were to be executed. You have no other information than these jottings on pieces of paper, and the first thing you do is crush him and his ideas.

Then this comment about he never felt good enough just as he was--What does that mean. What great minds and intellect what to settle for what they have. They go on creating and making things happen. Are you going to tell him at what point he should decide he was "good enough." Thank goodness he never settled, because he would still be an average singer who the world had forgotten a long time ago. No one has a right to tell anyone, ok you are "good enough" so stop. It is arrogant, and as I said before a form of colonization of the mind. It is connected to a type of thinking where a person or group of people tell others what is the right thing for them and limit their capabilities & is used to keep certain people in their place. This type of thinking tends to pop up ever so often here, and I always attack it when I see it.

I could never imagine that it would (King Tut). :bugeyed Like I'm stupid! :sigh:  Ah, glad to know that Michael was also fascinated by Egypt as I do. :wild: :girl_sigh:
