Michael Jackson's Secret Project Unveiled by His Comeback Partner


LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- ROCKRENA LLC, the company that is planning ROCK CITY entertainment facilities in Las Vegas and around the globe, today announced the launch of the Rock City Club as the first step in building Rock City Las Vegas.

"What started out as a dream a few years ago when I created 'Rock City' and brought Michael Jackson back to America, is now becoming a reality. I wish he were here now to be part of the Rock City Club and Rock City Las Vegas," said Jack Wishna.

The Rock City Las Vegas project was to feature Michael Jackson, and for Jackson and Jack Wishna to present other superstar talent alongside discovered "stars of tomorrow." Rockrena and Jack Wishna are building on this collaboration and are now moving forward with the plans for the Rock City Club and for Rock City Las Vegas.

"Rock City Club" (http://www.rockcityclub.com) is a unique way for undiscovered artists and rock bands to compete for performance contracts at ROCK CITY LAS VEGAS, and to be exposed to promoters, record labels, industry veterans and fans.

Yes there was something dodgy about this guy I can't remember for my life though what it was.. Maybe someone can help?
On another note Jackson was never in exile so the mofo of a journo who wrote this can go where the sun don't shine.
 
Michael wasn't interested in working with Mr. Wishna, because I guess Michael didn't really want to work the Las Vegas circuit.

If I recall correctly, Mr. Wishna bad-mouthed Michael thereafter (I'm sure there are some old stories around here somewhere). He said nobody wanted to work with Michael, yada, yada, yada. The usual spiel when folks didn't get their way with Michael.

Now to come out of the wood work with this project is ridiculous. Who does Wishna think he's kidding!

(Funny Wishna never mentioned this little project during all of his other Michael Jackson related ramblings.)
 
Didn't Kenny say that people kept coming up to Mike and asking about doing Las Vegas and Mike really didn't want to do it.

He's just using Michael's name to get some attention for this DOOMED project.

I mean, let's be for real here: Las Vegas is on LIFE SUPPORT! Nobody has money to travel and gamble like they did in the past and I seriously doubt that anybody has money to pump into any new Las Vegas projects.

That's just MY opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm not sure about Kenny, but I bet that Michael WAS getting offers from everybody and their momma.

And if Wishna would have succeeded in securing an appearence by Michael in one of those Las Vegas hotels, he would have been a hero to the Las Vegas powers that be. That's probably why he turned on Michael so quickly. Michael turned him down and that dashed Wishna's hopes and dreams.

They probably would have erected a statue of Wishna in the town square if he had gotten Michael to perform in Las Vegas. LOL!

and stopped returning his calls .. MJ didnt want to do Vegas yet
he had bigger plans in mind ..

Wishna told CNN that while he was trying to land Jackson a regular engagement at one of the Las Vegas casinos, the singer would appear "drugged up" and "incoherent" during meetings and was often so weak and emaciated, he had to use a wheelchair to get around. Wishna said the attempted comeback shows were then allegedly canceled because of the star's weak condition.

And I agree with you, if he was to get THE Michael Jackson to preform in Vegas, that hotel would make a crapload of money.
