Michael Jackson's Perfect Skin?

I've been wondering for the longest. How did Michael Jackson get his skin so smooth in his adult life??
I know that when he was a kid and teen, he always hated his acne. But when he became an adult his skin magically became smooth without a spot on him :D

Well, i dunno about perfect (not judging we all know his skin gave him a hard time) but his make up artist Karen Faye said that he used make up to hide his vitiligo at some point. The question sounds like an oxymoron somehow.
 
Yes but apart from the makeup i think the op meant that he didnt have acne. It probably also has to do with the fact that he was treated by a dermo as previously said here.cause no matter how much makeup you put on, if you have a unhealty skin(as in acne etc) youll always notice it

Michael went to a dematologist (skin specialist) and most likely had very commom dermabrasion treatments to remove the once noticeable acne scars. Just as anyone else who went to dermatologists for acne scars would do. Michael was in the entertainment Biz and always photographed and scrutenised, so I'm sure he wanted to look his best. We know from his own words, as a teenager he was very upset and concerned over his acne, as most teens are but even more so because he was in the public eye. Once Michael got older as most he grew out of the outbreaks and he maintained a healthy diet as 144.000 stated which also helped.
 
I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but, it's something I've always wondered - Does anyone know what happened to Michael's upper lip? I noticed after 1998 his upper lip had some issues and got worse in 2001 and so on until 2008-2009 when it got better, but it looked like "frozen".
 
Well he was regularly seeing a dermatologist so surely that treated his acne, blemishes, scars, etc.
Since Michael was very self-conscious about his looks, I imagine he combined dermatological treatment with an expert make-up artist. Someone also mentioned his healthy diet. Eating heathly also makes for healthy skin with the proper vitamins and minerals.

Either way...he was gorgeous. I wish I could afford his perfect complexion secret. lol. :D

According to Dr Klein Michael had a botched botox treatment on his lip in 2001 while in NY, that might have caused some damage. but I don't know of any other time. I never noticed anything earlier. He started seeking treatments from Dr. Klein again in 2008 and 2009 to look his best for his upcoming TII concerts. I must say he was looking very fine. These were non surgical treatments and Probably some botox and restylane injections. Dr. Klein's speciality.

The fact Michael stayed out of the sun and had a healthy diet would also be a factor in how well his skin looked.
 
A while back I read a fun story (almost fan fiction :D) of a fan who met Michael at Disneyland on December 31, 1991. He saw him from up-close and did see some scarring on his face, which looked like scars caused by acne. After having severe acne it's very possible that not all scar tissue will disappear, although with peelings (and make-up) you can make it less noticable.

We got ahead of Michael right before the exit of the ride “Big Thunder Mountain” At this point, I impulsively pushed my way in-between two of the suited men and stuck out my hand and yelled “MICHAEL” Well, one of the suited men started to pull me away, but then Michael grasped my hand and all of a sudden I was in the center of this group holding Michael’s left hand with my right ... He was wearing black pants and if I remember correctly and black shirt, black satin jacket and black fedora with the trade-mark curls of hair hanging down over his face. He had a very light complexion and I noticed that he had a lot of scarring from what appeared to be childhood acne. He didn’t have too much makeup on.

I sometimes wonder about this, too, but I'm not judging on it. Since Michael couldn't go out in the sun much, I always wondered how his skin looked smooth during his adult life then when he was a kid and teenager...Hmmm..It's ok, Mike, I'm not getting into your private life.
 
People with vitiligo don't scar(as in you wouldnt see dark marks....just inflamattion if anything)......so regardless you wouldn't see acne scars...or any for that matter...as for smoothing he had a derm and prob to great care of his skin
