Dukes of Hazzard star Catherine Bach is mourning the loss of her husband tonight.
Police and paramedics arrived at the Encino, California home of the legendary actress late Friday morning after a 911 call was placed that raised the prospect of a possible shooting.
"LAPD is on the scene," Lt. John Romero revealed, reported E! News. "We're still in the early stages of the investigation, but what we gather is it's an apparent suicide."
TMZ, however, identified the man as Catherine Bach's husband, Peter Lopez.
Lopez worked as a music attorney and at one time represented Michael Jackson.
A spokeswoman for Lopez's law firm has not yet made an official comment on the matter.
56-year-old Catherine Bach has not released a statement at this time either.
Bach and Lopez married in 1990 and had two children together.
