In this chart week in the UK, BAD has reached #15, 23 places higher than Xscape that is in #38. Additionally, BAD is 10 on the UK Official Download Chart (Doesn't include physical sales) beating Coldplay's Ghost Stories, put it this way, Ed Sheeran's X probably won't chart again in 27 years time, so this is impressive.
How has this happened all of a sudden? No it's not the death anniversary, it isn't because of Xscape, it's because of Google Play's deal that the album BAD is the album of the week and was sold at 99p for the full album.
A Horse With No Name also scored high on the Catalogue Chart here at number 2.
BAD has spent a whopping 138 weeks in the top 40, that's nearly 3 years! I suggest that someone puts this chart position on Wikipedia. Would a 99p deal for Xscape boost sales?
