Michael Jacksonlike vocalist SINGS 'This Is It'

How is Kenny Loggins MJ like? Kenny has been out since the early 1970s. He started out in a group Loggins & Messina, then went solo mid 70s. On the studio version of "This Is It", Michael McDonald from the Doobie Brothers sings the harmony vocals.

i'm just going by the sound of the guy's voice, the lead vocal(in this performance) the lyric, and my opinion, as opposed to the chronology and backing vocalist......

I have some of Kenny's albums and I've never thought of MJ. Loggins & Messina was kinda folky pop like Seals & Crofts or John Denver. Kenny's early solo music was sort of jazzy R&B pop produced by Bob James, the jazz keyboardist. Bob is now in the smooth jazz group 'Fourplay'. Then in the 80s, Kenny became king of the soundtrack songs, lol. I have "This Is It". It came out in 1978.

^Love that song. If you didn't post it, I would've, lol.

Also... no clue how Loggins sounds like MJ, but regardless, he's a great artist.
