**** NEVERLAND RANCH DAY TRIP ****

We are planning a day trip to Neverland Ranch where we will spend the day visiting where Michael Jackson lived for many years of his adult life. It is being somewhat restored and we thought that it would be nice to visit and have fun. We are having a picnic lunch, and a dance performance as well as a water fight.... something Michael Jackson loved to do... We will provide lun...ch, the continental breakfast going up and snacks returned home as well as the water balloons. All you need to provide is a super soaker off your own ready to go...... Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.... and enjoy... We as everyone bring one can good for the Hope Rescue Mission and a towel if you choose to....YOU WILL GET WET.......HEHE...:)

It's really weird for me to see fans turning Michael's death anniversary into a fun celebration.... I could understand doing it on his birthday or some random day, but not June 25 or a couple of days from that day.... But to each their own, I guess...
 
awe thats very nice for the fans
They love Michael they want to fellowship together and celebrate his life at Neverland. I gaurantee there
will be plenty of tears included when they arrive .. we shoudnt judge I believe this is how Michael would
wan this fans to celebrate his life.

Forest Lawn and June 25th is another day ..
but even then fans will do what they feel comfortable with. Some like to honor him with music dancing
and some tears .. who's to say its wrong. We each have our own way of dealing with his loss
 
I didn't think Neverland was open for people to do things like this? Isn't it private property?

I wish i knew which fan group is behind this crass initiative...but i am too disgusted to click on the fb link. Will try to find out and give them a piece of my mind.

This is as bad as Mann, Katherine's ventures or all the other lowlives who've been hard at work to extort money from fans.

I agree with you. Also I clicked on the facebook link and someone named April is excepting the money for the trip.

there's been a select few fans that have entered Neverland btw just months ago..
 
As i see they want money only for bus trip. If they meet at Michael's star in Hollywood, they should ride a long way to Los Olivos. It seems to me it isn't trip for profit, it's just trip for fun.

If so, I hope it's done respectably. Visiting Neverland would be an incredible experience, especially for Michael fans and children. As long as it's done for positive reasons...
 
of course fans would need permission in Neverland lol!!.. but anyone can drive to the gate!!
 
Reminds me of all the fans who defaced the bricks outside the entrance with messages to Michael. I know their hearts were in the right place, but they pretty much destroyed private property.
 
Geez, I guess most of you have trouble comprehending what you are reading! They are not going inside Neverland, they are driving up to the gate, which anyone can do, without any permission or authorization whatsoever... but if they asked Neverland security if it's okay to hang around on the street during the day, then more power to them. If they have rented a bus to go from L.A. to Neverland, then I don't think they will be making too much money, as they have to pay that bus (I've never rented a bus myself, but 1250 $ sounds kinda right). As for the date... well, does it make a difference? Michael is dead also on the 20th and on the 30th of june, but unlike those dates, the 25th is a Michael related date... so what's wrong to spend that with other fans at a place he lived for many years?

Well, they sure are not going to dinner and bla bla bla... in middle of the street, I doubt it. I think the neighbors would not like. By the way which is written the description of this event, will be inside Neverland and not on the street.
 
I doubt it's gonna be inside Neverland which is private property. Anyone can, and does, drive to the gate, and park on the side of the road. The only neighbors are cows and trees. I dont really see where they want to have 50 people, without being in the middle of the road or in the dust. Such trips have become somewhat of a trend. One is with a "party bus" (with a strip pole in the middle mind you) and should be making a trip to Santa Maria to see the courthouse and the security gate MIke had to go through. Tasteful.
I dont get it, but like it's been said, to each their own. I guess. :(

Yes, but it's still strange that so many fans (I believe many fans will be there and not just a handful) to make this event/picnic/dinner in the street.... Why for me at the gates is the same as "street", but ok. :fear: I hope it's not a mess and is very well organized, all have fun and everything goes ok. :)



P.S. I hope anyone throw stones at me. :fear:
