A Living Monument For Michael Jackson : Memorial Forest in Turkey

The sign, which stands with pride in front of the young saplings, proclaims a cause to acquire a monumental status of Michael Jackson's memorial, under the light of his 'healing the world' ideal to which he dedicated his life.

The forest was established as a tribute to Michael Jackson, located in NorthWest Turkey, by MJTurkFan, the first and biggest Michael Jackson fan club in Turkey, created in 2001 and TEMA the Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion.

The donation campaign had started in October,2009 and ended in December.

This makes me extremely happy . Right now "Michael Jackson Memorial Forest" consists of 2371 saplings that will grow over the years. Can't wait to see those saplings to grow and become a big, tall and strong forest.

I really wish that some type of memorial for Michael would be established where I live. That would be so great.
 
wow. that's two countries' forests. Russia and Turkey. MJ gave to the earth. now the earth is giving back to him.

this is a beautiful tribute,i,d just like to add my husband is from turkey,
 
i'm proud of my country... it's one of the best ways to remember Michael always and forever. he would love it, i'm sure he watches us in every single second and see these beautiful things. I can feel his lovely, kind and beuatiful smile for this forest

Michael, you give us many things and you make this world better. I love you and miss you so much.
