DT Asia to join up with DEVNET for Michael Jackson Memorial Ceremony at Expo 2010
As Shanghai World Expo 2010 is reaching new heights, DT Communications Asia Pacific (DT Asia), the partner organization of DEVNET Pavilion at EXPO 2010, is heavily involved in Pavilion coordination and management works.

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 14, 2010 – DT Asia is tasked with a heavy appointment of organizing ten large-scale themed activities over a span of 6 months. One of the key events hosted at DEVNET Pavilion is the Anniversary Memorial Ceremony for Michael Jackson. The Pavilion will hold the ceremony as a public welfare and non-profit event, primarily to commemorate Michael Jackson’s contribution to the international charity careers, which is in accordance with the charitable principle of DEVNET.
Some of Michael Jackson’s charity works include the Heal The World Foundation, which was established in 1992 to institute drug and alcohol abuse education and to donate millions of dollars to less fortunate children. Michael Jackson also donated proceeds from the sales of The Man In The Mirror to Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, a camp dedicated to children who suffer from cancer.
Being an executing agency of United Nations Development Programme, DEVNET provides charity assistance to promote information exchange among countries and regions for the purpose of developing international information networks.
The organization’s principal is to facilitate cooperation in international law, economic development, social progress and achieving world peace. ‘City Rescue and Harmonious Life-integrative International Communication & Cooperation’ is the key purpose and philosophy that will be communicated in DEVNET Pavilion at Expo 2010.
Experienced in organizing large-scale events in the Asia-Pacific region and well-known for its creativity, DT Asia will play to its full strengths to better serve the Pavilion and the Expo, to bring exciting and enriching activities to the Expo stage.
Holding this event in the East at the 2010 World Expo to honor the famous musician and philanthropist and to highlight his charitable journey is an unconventional approach of Michael Jackson’s tribute with a non-profit organization. This unique approach used by DT Asia upholds its innovative trait, thus making the campaign unique and memorable.
Besides organizing the Michael Jackson Anniversary Memorial event, DT Asia will also organize an Asia Interactive Information Day. Tapping on the good relations DT Asia has with the domestic and foreign governments, cities such as Taipei, Hong Kong, Macao, Jiangmen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wenzhou and Ningbo are invited to participate in this event to witness each city’s culture and character at the Expo stage, and also to promote inter-city economy, trade, technology exchanges and cooperation.
