Well, what y'all think/feel about his NEW album being a regular studio version AND
LIVE performances of each track on a dual disc...no audience, just Michael and an Orchestra / Band?

Now THAT would be like him giving a concert in your house just for you :wild:

Has that ever been done before on a NEW release?

Well, live performances on a DVD is a good idea but without an audience I don't think it would work. There gotta be an audience, fans to really make the feeling, to make it a real Michael Jackson concert.

i second this i sure would love to see these songs with just mj and the orchestra these are amazoing songs with great music prooves the mans amazing talent

I see your point, but imagine being able to hear EVERYTHING...and YOU control the volume...

You can have a bunch of friends over if you want an audience ambiance.

Sounds interesting, though while performing Michael seems to feed from the audience's energy, so I would prefer to have some sort of crowd.

I'd like that idea. But I think it would be cool if Michael would release the standard album first (of course) and then following the concert release a deluxe version in a fold-out case set with an extra CD of completed songs that didn't make the album and a DVD of the concert. It would also be neat IMO if the concert was available separately on Blu-Ray disc as well.

That would be cool, like the AOL sessions or MSN sessions. It makes it seem personal like they are just performing to you. You get to feel the artist themselves, rather than the atmosphere from the crowd. It would be an amazing new view of Michael the performer.

I LOVE this idea! I would prefer it over things like Vision - let's face it we can watch his music videos anywhere, but studio footage is precious - it's raw, it's personal and it's intimate. I WANT it!
