Michael Jackson comparisons and importance

I always feel that he has always been compared with the wrong people. Instead of people like Elvis, Prince,whoever (not knocking them by the way) he should be compared with people like Chaplin and Disney. His importance is similar, he inspired and gave imagination to a whole generation.

I totally agree, I'm sick of people comparing Michael to Elvis, before and now after Michael left, makes me very angry.
And Yes, like Disney, Michael has inspired and outstandingly amazed the world for so many years, and all the years to come till the end of time Michael will continue to do that.

It makes Michael all the more special that he can be compared to both: musically he was a huge icon and incredibly popular, not unlike Elvis. But he was also a great inspiration because of his creativity and imagination, similarly to Disney and Chaplin.
Not to mention his charity and humanitarism.
