Michael Has Found Solace

The day is bright
The sky is blue
I'm wondering where you are

Are you far away?
Or are you very near?
If I call out will you hear?

It's lonely without you
The Michael we know
But maybe you're here some way else
Is it you in the breeze?
Are you there in the sun?
With the warmth of rays are we basking in your glow?

Are you weeping tears of joy
Now that you're finally at peace?
Are you looking down on us wishing
We'd smile as brightly as you taught us to
And think of the solace you've found?

However painful it is to be without you
We must try our best to be strong
To be at peace in the realisation
That you are now
Bathing
In unbridled heavenly bliss
Experiencing the kind of contentment
We on earth can't even imagine.
You're one of heaven's stars now
Free as a bird in the sky
And thanks to your work here on earth,
Your genius, your heart and your soul
You will remain
Forever
Effervescent in all of our hearts.

I know what you mean. It was a beautiful sunny day when I wrote it, and the breeze was blowing really gently. It just got me thinking of Michael, and that he wasn't around to feel it anymore. But then I thought maybe he is here, all around us, in everything that comes from God.
It gave me solace to think that!
I remember a couple of hours later being sad again but every time I read it I remember how much at peace Michael is now, and that thought gives me comfort.
