CAIRO: Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, is coming to Cairo. In a tribute performance to the late pop icon, The World Masters is presenting the performance of “Man ‘N The Mirror: Forever Michael” at The Cairo Opera House.
The series will run from May 4-9.
“Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time. He is one of the greatest American recording artist, dancer, singer-songwriter and musician of all time. His contribution to music, dance and fashion, along with a much-publicized personal life, made him a global figure in pop culture for over four decades,” a press statement on the upcoming series said.
Jackson debuted on the professional sage with his brothers as part of the Jackson 5 in 1964 and began his solo career in 1971. The singer died in Los Angeles in 2009 at the age of 50.
Man ‘N The Mirror: Forever Michael is a tribute to his songs and the irreplaceable artist that he was.
“A cast of over 20 live musicians, dancers and singers takes you on a journey, celebrating the contagious and irresistible music of Michael Jackson!” the statement said.
The show will feature 30 of Jackson’s greatest hits, including ABC, Rock with You, Wanna Be Starting Something, The Way You Make Me Feel, Thriller, Man in the Mirror, Billie Jean, Bad, Beat It, Black or White, and Earth Song.
“This is a high-energy, action packed thrilling show every Michael Jackson fan should see!” the press statement said.
