I know. 10 years, WOW!

I always remember it as the album that brought Madonna back, but unlike many others, I don't rate it as one of her best. In fact it's probably the Madonna album I listen to least. But it wa sgreat for her to have a number one single again in Frozen, 8 years after her last (in UK).

I don't know why, but I tend to like Madonna albums that get slated the most. For example, I believe American Life is her best work.

American Life is ok I guess...but I can't abide some of the tracks.

Especially the one's that gets the most appraise. "Hollywood", "Nothing Fails" and "Intervention"

Her "Confessions" album was great....the whole album is sheer bliss for me from start to finish.
Infact, I like all of her albums.

I'm quite worried about the direction of the new one though....

My worry with the new one is that she always does things that set trends and never normally jumps on the bandwagon. With this though, she's jumped straight on the Timbaland / Timberlake horse.

I may be wrong and hope I am, I mean I didn't like Hung Up at first and now it's in my Top 10 Madonna songs ever. Although the rest of Confessions didn't do it for me.

There'll be another Greatest Hits after Hard Candy. I hope they make it a proper full hits collection. Both Immaculate & GHV2 had some great stuff missing.

Yes,

I don't think a single disc is enough to cover her 25@ years with Warner.
It definitely needs two...Although...looking at her hits...I don't think two discs would be enough to fit them all on. LOL.

One can only dream...but bet all her these will be edited to death by Madonnas camp.

Something like this would be awesome!

^^ True. She's had about 65 singles of which about 60 have gone Top 10 (in UK). So it'll either be a triple CD set or if it's a double with 15 on each, I'd go for this:

Holiday
Lucky Star
Like A Virgin
Material Girl
Crazy For You
Into The Groove
Live To Tell
Papa Don't Preach
Open Your Heart
La Isla Bonita
Causing A Commotion
Like A Prayer
Express Yourself
Vogue
Justify My Love

Erotica
Deeper And Deeper
Rain
Secret
Take A Bow
You'll See
Frozen
Ray Of Light
Drowned World
Beautiful Stranger
Music
Don't Tell Me
Hung Up
Jump
4 Minutes

That was tough, but I think these are her best 30 singles.

I think that's a more realistic album that Warner will be putting out.

Actually I missed out stuff from American Life and that's her best album. I'd have to put Am Life and Hollywood in there.

OMG...So did I.

I know i'm not that to fond of it, but that's ludicrous! lol

aw thats like my fave album of hers!Happy birthday Ray of light!lol

Damn, I'm getting old. Where did the last 10 years go? *tear*

Probably her best album ever

Agreed. Such a brilliant moment in her career.

Ray of Light, Like a Prayer, Erotica, Music, American Life, and Confessions are among my favorite Madonna albums. I love her old stuff but much prefer her modern work as a whole.
