Madonna collapses on stage OMG

hopefully this tour is over soon.. she needs a break!!
 
Accidents happen. Unforeseen happen. This could happen to any artist on stage. The tabloids love this kind of thing to denigrate in any way the image of the artist. But... people will say that Madonna is old, not enough and should retire career. Madonna is very good for a woman of 51 years and is enviable. I think any woman would like the playfulness of it. Madonna is in full physical form.
 
I like Madonna. And as long as she doesn't make herself sick or stressed out, she can go for as long as she feels able. Who are these hacks to tell her when to quit? It's not like they actually care about anybody but themselves and their stupid trash mags. The minute she decides to stop, they'll be laughing at her and saying stupid things like "it's about time." and crap like that anyway. So as far as I'm concerned, they can just clam up and sit down.
 
OMG! I don't much care for Madonna, but goodness - that was scary.
Let's not make horrible assumptions, though - I fainted at church once simply because I was sleepy and didn't have breakfast, so...
Glad she's fine.

This is total media manipulation. Madonna DID NOT pass out. It was all staged and supposed to be playful. One of her dancers, the MJ impersonator, blows her a kiss during the MJ tribute and she pretends to pass out from infatuation. I think it's really sad that the media is spreading lies like this but I'm not surprised at all. Anything for money.

I was listening to some talk show on the radio and they said this wasn't the first time she fainted, it happened repeatedly - NO WONDER IF IT'S PART OF THE SHOW!!!

Thanks for this, Jona. Relief.
Like I said, I don't care much for her music, but she's an icon and yeah, we can't afford to lose another one.

Thanks Jona for clarifying this because the LAST thing we need is another megagiant dying, I think the industry would sink to a black hole literally if we lost Madonna too soon. I despise the tabloids I really do!
 
I was reading comments and talking to people who were there over the net. A lot of people were saying that it's all overblown media rubbish. I don't believe that Madonna was as the paps are making her out to be.

Madonna does NOT need publicity, she has - like michael - dones more then any artist, and to even have the idea of the Queen of pop "trying to make a buck off MJ" is really a bizare (i'll be nice) comment....

I don't really think she's "trying to make a buck". She's already a global superstar and people had bought tickets to see her way before tragedy struck. Obviously she has to carry on with her tour, and wanted to pay respect by dedicating part of the show to Michael.

Want to know what I think would have been better than "fainting" and "collapsing"? Performing one of his songs - like "Heal the World" or "Bad"....call me cynical, but she's not exactly on top anymore....
 
Hard to tell, but most likely it was part of the act.

She is a fantastic artist that I've also followed for years as well - but of course not as long as I have with Michael.

Hope she is taking care and getting much needed/deserved rest.
 
I am happy Madonna is ok.....she needs a break.....She also needs to go eat some damn food. She is far to thin. You need food for energy.

It is just odd that this happened during a tribute to Michael....Maybe Madonna is taking his death really hard...I dont know what is going on in her mind...I wish her well...
 
I do not think it is an actual collapse. In some of the videos you can see "Michael" is sending her a kiss and that is why she imitates collapsing.

Plus, think about it - if you really collapse it is impossible to recover and start dancing again immediately.

As for the tribute - i do not know whether she is sad and how exactly feels about Michael`s passing but i am glad she included such tribute in her concert.

Yeah, she's a totally over. Having just completed the most successful solo tour in history (grossing 408 million) backs up such statements. Being in the business for over 25 years, still having hits and best sellers means nothing. :smilerolleyes:

God, this is the same kinda bs people tried to pull on MJ but I guess as fans it's ok to lie about other artists, huh? :smilerolleyes:

Was a global superstar? I'm trying to be nice here but it's hard when people say such outrageous comments.
 
Face it. She hasn't really been burning up the charts lately. Show me some statistics on how well her music is selling NOW, and I'll go along with it.
 
Yep,plus the "on stage" performance is not that "hot",also.Leaving aside the "gypsy discrimination" thing (which disappointed and annoyed the crowd), the people that attended the show in Bucharest were disappointed,mostly because she did not sing properly live.
This did not happen with Shakira,Beyonce,The Rolling Stones,George Michael etc.
