In the 1980s, answer songs were really popular in R&B. There were a lot for UTFO's "Roxanne Roxanne". This song "Superstar" came out in 1983 and was a reply to "Billie Jean". Too bad it's not the long version, lol.

it was cool back in the day. our radio stations played it a whole bunch and also Steely Dan's "Do it again" bringing all three back,to back to back.
