There was a time when 13 december was the darkest night in the year.
We needed a light but I don´t know why we are celebrating Lucia, a saint from Italy with the most beautiful eyes(exept for MJs of course)
We have Lucia in every town,most schools, kindergarden.
Lucia isn´t alone, she has maids, starboys(free translation) and children use to have others to but I can´t translate.
It´s a pity I cant find pictures of children singing Luciasongs but here is Lucia in a church and you can see how dark it is before Lucia and her maids are coming

There are those who got nobelprice and came to Stockholm and almost got heartattack when there came girls in the morning dressed in white with candles singing and gave them coffee.I remember there was one man who said he thought he had come to heaven.
