I saw this yesterday. It's actually a really warm and charming little film. I find the lead, Nick Robinson(?), very charismatic but felt he struggled with the emotional depth required. It's squarely aimed at teens but it's message of inclusion and acceptance probably still need to be heard in a world so filled with hate, and will appeal to all ages.
I post however because the main character in the film is a music fan. And he emails the boy he's fallen in love with over the internet, a selection of Christmas songs to listen to and notes one as being his all time favourite - one in which the people on this forum might know
