Last year, The Montreal Jazz festival had a fabulous Stevie Wonder outdoor/free concert on June 30th.

Of course there were many MJ fans that were there to support Stevie who had the courage to show up even with his dear friend's tragic death. Stevie did make a wonderful touching and long(!) tribute to his late friend. I was first row and I loved it. We all sang, cried and danced.

This year, the Montreal Jazz festival will open with a Lionel Richie concert (indoor/not free)...

....on June 25th.

Do you think he's gonna pay any tribute to Michael?

Stevie did, and that was hell of a tribute, probably because the show was free, but for Lionel Richie, people have to pay, maybe he's gonna stick to his classics and just say a little something for Michael, or maybe a minute of silence, I don't know.

I wanted to go see him, but since it's on June 25th, damn... I'll probably have something more personnal and less joyful to do than going to a concert...

What do you think?

could be just a coincidence, that he's performing on that day. u might be taking ur chances. he seems like a nice guy, but he also seems like someone who doesn't have as much conviction as MJ had. he really allowed people to change up his lyrics for watw 25. but..of course that could very well mean nothing. he's hard to peg. i'm sure he loves Michael, but i'm also sure, he needs to much to be p.c.

i guess he might do a tribute, though...i hope he does.

he is worth every dime live and he will give mj a shout out big time. lionel is cool folks and one of the all time greatest artist's imo. big fan always
