LIBERIAN GIRL

It's Pyramid Girl all over again.
There are no pyramids in Liberia.

The song grew over the years because it kind of sound like modern pop. It sounded like a filler back than, a quality filler for sure

LG's a filler?😮

I don't mean it in a bad sense....there lesser songs on the album. But it doesn't share the energy of the album. that's probably why it sounds relatively modern. smooth vibe

I was never a big fan of the Bad album in all honesty but Liberian Girl I actually liked, I never considered it a filler but I guess if I look back to my childhood it wasn't considered a true hit.

Michael said he didn’t have any one specific person in mind when he wrote his song “Liberian Girl”: “I wrote that at my house, in the game room. I guess I was playing pinball or something. And the song just popped in my head. I think I ran upstairs and put it on tape. And it became Liberian Girl.”
