No, it was written between 2002-2005 and is about her entire family (remembering how they were each others best friends growing up and how she misses that (although the song is not entirely about Michael she does mention him especially when she talks about 'Joker').
The song was written for her 'Startin Over' album (which is still to be released). I first heard the song home around 2005/2006 when it was leaked to the internet. In February it was announced that she would be releasing a new single at the end of June 2009 called "Love, Honour and Obey"...but in light of Michaels death she thought it would be more appropriate to release "Home" instead. She re-edited the song slightly and dedicated the song to Michael and gave all proceeds from the sale of the songs to his charites..
The video (filmed this year) contains many references to Michael...

lol....ha ha ha.
That is an old song from an album that's been shelved because there was no interest in Latoya.
She released it after MJ passed and dedicated the song to him...hoping that would bring be extra attention, which would help the release of her CD. No such luck.
I think Latoya will forever be known as the only Jackson without a Gold record. lol
