Jackson sister to play Warsaw


La Toya Jackson is to appear in Warsaw on New Year’s Eve.

The artist will be the one of the star guest of this year’s open air New Year’s Eve celebration pl. Konstytucji in Warsaw, which will have a 'Michael Jackson Tribute' theme, following last year's Abba tribute.

The event, which will include a fireworks show, will be broadcast by commercial TV station Polsat. The capital city is spending 3.6 million zloty (854,000 euro) on the party.

There will be Michael`s dance impersonators contest. Guest of that show will be The best known Michael`s impersonator - Ernesto Valentino.

It's honour for Poland because she is Michael's sister. I don't understand your suspicion. She makes well for Michael legacy now. I appreciate her efforts to continue Michael's charity work.

It's my humble opinion.

IA. I wonder what will be going through her head when she see's the impersonators? I remember Janet was saying she was trying not to cry when she saw the dancers rehearsing for the MJ tribute at the MTV music awards.
 
La Toya has been raised in the limelight just like her other siblings, she always appeared here and there but now many people pay extra attention.

And I agree with triniti.

I`m not suspicious. Sorry if it has resounded strangely.
 
She's gonna sing two songs? i hope it will be playback because to be truly she is singing terrible! I saw her concert in Poland in 1993 and it was awful.But I'm sure she isn't doing it only for money but also for MJ memory.

I agree with both funkey jay and triniti. I have been following Latoya for 5 years now. The number of appearances she has had this year is not out of the ordinary. It's just that now the world notices (whereas before nhardly anyone did). she is michael's sister and the world is currently interested in everything Michael.

got to her website. Latoyaonline.com she has been busy before MJ passed. It took a longtime for me to forgive her of her allegations but she was being abused then by her husband. She gets a pass from me until she proves me wrong. She has always fought for Michael.

:mello: if all she wanted was money, don't you think she could have just stayed in america selling stories to tabloids? Why go all the way to Poland for an MJ tribute? :mello: Some people are just so desperate to hate everyone but Michael that they abandon all common sense...
 
Show will begin momentarily. In Poland is 7.30 PM. It starts at 8. Unfortunately I`m at home today.
