ok i am getting a laptop for christmas and i need some input on some of them. I have it down to 2. Inspiron 15r, Vostro 1015 Do any of you know how well these work for making videos or editing photos?

Laptop help!

I have no experience wtih those computers but you should check the CPU speed as you will need it to convert videos and edit pictures. You will also need to have a big RAM lets say 2gb at least and video card inmo 256 mb at least. You should also take in consideration the operating system that each laptop comes with. If you are a Windows user I would recomment the latest Windows, because the Windows Xp is a 10 year old OS and does not support DirectX10 and above and so on. I hope this helped a little.

lol thanks i looked and they both seem to have a great graphics card. i think im going to go with the Inspiron 15R

got it thanks guys. I got the inspiron 15 and my cousin got a mini
