Yesterday night, La Toya was invited to this reallity to perform her song 'Startin' Over', she saw the tribute dedicated to her brother Michael made by the ss and answered some questions about Mike, his children and the trial.
This program has kind of the formats of American Idol (a bunch of ppl perform in front of 3 judges, they give their critics and the audience needs to vote for the guys to not leave the competition and Big Brother (the ss are locked in a house, there are camaras everywhere and audience can see the classes they take, how they rehearse for the concerts, etc.)
Media has said she received $300,000 US dollars to attend that show, I honestly didn't like her song, she was lip syncking.

After her song the ss of La academia performed a tribute that I hated with all my being for Michael:

La Toya was answering questions when the show ended. She was saying Michael's passing was a conspiracy and Murray is the main guilty one, she though Michael was going to be with his family much more time and about his children she said Prince and Paris have the same charitative spirit that his father thought to them.
She was nice and approachable to MJ fans and journalist but all of us we know she's that way when it's needed.

Now we know why she went to Mexico. Imagine getting all that money. If it is true, I am impressed, because I never realized that Latoya was worth $300,000. The economy in Mexico must be doing very well indeed!!!

Good to hear her say that Murray is the main one, since before she was claiming he was a fall guy. She needs to say this on US soil as well.

It is good to see her earning some money based on her own song and effort. I am impressed by that. Of course they are going to ask about the famous brother and his children which is to be expected.

About the kids charitable spirit, I hope she is not saying that to justify the heal the world fiasco, but one would assume that they saw their father always giving and were socialized into that way of thinking from him.

Latoya can be pleasing when she chooses to be, which is why some find her endearing. She needs to be more consistent with that part of herself, though.

That tribute--sorry after the chubby guy began to sing, I turned the thing off. Maybe people who like hip hop may find it appealing.

I thought Latoya did a nice job. The audience seemed to enjoy the show. Is it a popular show in Mexico?
 
I hate that woman with every fiber of my being. I just cannot stand her. And I pray she gets what coming to her. You cannot be this conniving & not get your karma.


To me she is the female version of Jermaine. Attention-whore. Jealous of her brother's success.
 
I can't believe anyone would pay even a dollar for LaToya. They must have been really desperate to get someone semi-famous on the show.....

I respect your opinion jrsfan but she's not popular here. TV Azteca Networ wanted to cash in with us the Mexican MJ fans, they actually wanted to bring her to the show on the 28th of August bhut I guess she had other stuff to do.
Bofeore the press conference I was talking before, she did an intervew with a Mexican reporter to promote her book ONLY talking about Michael and his children.
She was still insisting on the conspiracy involving Murray because Michael "said that" to her", supposedly she was a constan visitor in his house, how hard has been for the children to cope without Michael , she said Prince has vitiligo too, what Prince and Paris want to do when they grow up.

Idk if that amount was true but if it was, I thinks it's totally ridiculous.
This last Sunday they had Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) and Manny Pacquiao (sp?)
