La Toya says Michael Was Not A DRUG addict on AH (Video)

Yes indeed Michael was not no drug addict he never was and that BS saying his stomach was full of pills was a lie from TMZ.
 
It is about time somebody from the family came to Michael's defense.Thank you for sharing.
 
Good to see someone taking a stance in regards to Michael, for once. He was no drug addict, that's for sure. He doesn't even seem to have an 'addict' personality [someone with self-control issues]. Nor does he seem like the type who would abuse a drug.
 
It amazes me that the family can't agree on what they think. All coming out with different lines that even change every now and then. But that said, this needed to be said.
 
Good to hear her say this loud and clear. No 'if's, no 'but's, Michael was NOT a drug addict.
 
I agree that needed to be said for the general public and I hope it helps. But to the fanbase we already knew that.
If she would have stated that and then stopped I would be happy .. but then she has to go on and embelish and I
use that word kindly.

mom gave him an aspirin. PULEEZE.. I would think Michael had more sense than that. He wasnt an IDIOT .. She needs to stop
with her .. Ill be kind (embelishments) We know Michael took prescribed pain meds when needed so why would he freak out
over an aspirin.

Also her saying MJ told her many times they are out to kill him is an embelishment becuase she never saw him many times.
She already admitted he told her that during the trial. not anytime recent. Also Joe said Michael never told him that so again she embelishes. When she keeps changing her story its hard to believe anything that comes out her mouth. In several interviews she has contradicted herself and contradicted what she wrote in her book.

We know Michael was NOT a drug addict but when she says he is not a drug addict for many it will hold no weight becuase she has embelished and lied too many times.

Why can't a more trustworthy person from the Jackson family speak on behalf of MJ in the media? Why has to be always this person? Don't they understand that this person is not helping the situation, in fact is making it worst? This woman should never be permited to speak publicly about MJ again. Enough damage she has done already.
 
I "guess" for some, this may be good news. For ME, it's a too little-too late, as far as the GENERAL PUBLIC is concerned. Especially when said message is coming from LaToya Jackson. You got Janet talking about "interventions" and now LaToya is saying something completely different. Who are folks going to believe?

As far as I'm concerned, when that autopsy report became public knowledge, THEY should have been waving that autopsy report like a flag, in order to get people's attention, instead of concentrating on trying to eliminate John Branca from his seat at the head of the table.

To be honest, when the autopsy report got leaked, I thought surely we would have seen the family come out and claim a sort of victory towards the media by making it 100% clear exactly what drugs were in Michael's system at the time of his death, but ONCE AGAIN I was wrong.
 
Unfortunately LaToya lose her credibility long time ago. It's not helping. The general public will believe Janet rather than her even she is the one telling the truth in this issue. It's really sad.

I would have to agree.

And her going around "CLAIMING" that Michael forgave her and ALL was good, aint' helping her either. In my opinion, a lot of folks don't believe her and have never and will never forgive her for what she did to Michael.
 
Yeah I'm sick and tired of people saying he's using drugs this and that and saying he's an addict and we know he's not an addict. Why won't they just shut the F%#K UP!!!

When you have some in his own family saying he was an addict in denial along with their supporters given interviews saying the exact same thing, you can't hardly blame the media. In some ways, Toya's description of Michael is worst since being an addict would explain his the over the top paranoia he supposedly had. Really, you have issues if you asked to be taking to the ER over asprins.

Also, since he was taking meds to sleep and did have a problem with painkillers in the 90s, her whole story about the asprins sounds strange and made up.

In general, the public finds LaToya more likeable than Janet. So, I'm grateful to LaToya for stating this truth.

I've said it many times before; now I'll say it again. I believe Michael Jackson was assassinated. Conrad Murray injected Michael Jackson with a lethal combination of drugs similar to the ones they use to carry out the death sentence in the prisons of the U.S.

Not true. People find Toya more fun to watch then Janet because she is such a drama queen. IF the general public actually liked her more what she said would had gotten more coverage and her book would had sold better. Say what you will about Janet, but her book actually did make the bestseller list.

ummm She was talking about Before the Burn happened... you know before the Papsi commercial? Before that he never liked Medicine... but after the burn...ofcourse...NOONE Can handle that kinda pain :cry: ...smh!

And I NEVER thought Michael's 'paranoia' had to do with any drug rumor that went on and still going on... He was scared for his life *which he should have been since he's a Black man in a white man's world-who had the ownership of the Beatles catalog and owned half of $ONY* I Never thought they would go this far to make it a point on destroying his life!... :no:

AND HE was dead ON when he said they're after him to kill him... if that wasnt true, he would've been with us today! I'M actually glad at least one member of the family is speaking out on behalf of Michael...

Michael was not dependent or abusing any drug-end of story!
he had a problem in 1993 and it is understandable...but he fix it and was very carefull now...
 
It's not about if Janet sold more books than Latoya...its what they said about Michael on interviews that matter... Toya said Michael was not a "drug addict" while Jan said otherwise... It's not about their likability but its what would make Michael look bad in the media...and what Jan said made him look bad. the media ALWAYS Wants something that would discredit Michael's love-ability and thats why Jans side of the story is more heard than Toya's!

Some of us, and apparently some of his family members, tend to forget that Michael was in physical pain. From Vitiligo to Lupus to Chronic back and leg pain, from insomnia...etc. and taking medicine for those Alone have side effects and he might have taken medicine for those side effects and people use that and call him a drug addict. It really bothers me that now Michael is known as a drug addict while *Elvis(no offense to his fans)* Is seen as an amazing artist by the world...but he was the one who had alcohol and prescription meds. cocktail... :no:

Latoya explains that MJ before the Pepsi burn he had no drug issues and said that the day he died he was clean except for what the doc gave him. So I think what she is saying about this issue on AH is fine and true!
 
It is not too late. People are fickle and forget easily. The whole family needs to get on the same page and say this loud and clear.
 
Now I understand what she meant about the "division in the familly since Michael's passing" and how "many members of the familly don't want contact with her at the moment" cause she's practically the only one in the familly willing to actually tell the truth and defend Michael!

Now don't get me wrong, for me all this is way too late, the damage has already passed especially thanks to the "loving familly"... and Latoya has used very well Michael's passing for her benefit (2 singles, album, book, music videos and appearing on every show she could possibly get into) so she already lost fully my respect there! But, I'm still glad that she's not talking crap like others do, and when she gets a chance she actually talks about the real Michael Jackson!

I'm so sick of people saying that Michael was drug addict... people need to hear the facts... MICHAEL TOOK PERSCRIPTION MEDICATION!!!!! HE DIDN'T TOUCH ANY DISGUSTING DRUG FOR PLEASURE LIKE ALL OTHER CELEBRITIES WITH REAL DRUG PROBLEMS!!! People need to understand that this man had to wake up everyday with constant pain in his back and legs, pain from his burned scalp and constand surgeries to heal the wound, not to mention the many diseases he surrfered from (Lupus & Vitiligo) and with that put an emotional depression from living every single day with the world judging your every move, harrassing you, destroying your being and accuse you of the most disgusting and horrific act in history... who wouldn't be hooked to the medication to take all that pain away??? Michael had to raise his kids and work hard for his fans and needed medication to go through it all... he was NOT a druggie!! He didn't touch crap, he took perscription medication to heal the pain he endured in his everyday life!! PEOPLE HAVE TO GET IT THROUGH THERE HEADS!!!

Latoya and Jermaine have books to sale now. I'm expecting to hear more things

MJ fans want too hear from them in the upcoming months.
