Kingston Digital to Distribute 'Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT' on Limited-Edition USB Flash Drive

Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced an agreement with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to deliver "Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT" exclusively on a special Kingston® DataTraveler® USB Flash drive.

Timed to the DVD and Blu-ray Disc(TM) release of "Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT," the limited edition drive will be available on www.kingston.com/shop and at major U.S. retailers on January 26, 2010. The film can be backed up on up to three PCs and is compatible with Windows® XP, Windows Vista® and Windows 7 operating systems. Windows Media Player is required for viewing.

Can it be used on a mac? I would rather have the USB instead of the iTunes download. Atleast I can carry the memory stick around, no need to carry around my notebook

Huh? What not to like? U hav the option of buying the movie on DVD, blu Ray, iTunes download, ps3 card or on memory stick.

U do know all the big movies nowadays come on all these different devices?
 
Yeah, it's not that abnormal really. I think it'd be a cute thing to have.
 
When the Thriller 25 album came out, it was supposed to be released on a flash drive also. But I never saw it in a store.
 
Wouldnt that just mean it would be easier to copy/distribute online but guess it will still happen regardless of this flashdrive - good idea tho and Mike loved embracing new technology and idea's
