Kelly Rowland Talks Meeting Michael Jackson, Says He Sang “Bootylicious” To Her [Video] « Hip-Hop Wired
Kelly Rowland recently sat down for an interview with The Life Files where spoke on a number of topics including when she met the late Michael Jackson before he died.

According to Kelly she met the late MJ during her Destinys Child days when she sang at his anniversary special at Madison Square Garden.

Rowland says the King Of Pop gave them more a than warm welcome, even stopping to sing their hit "Bootylicious."

"I did meet Michael Jackson, that was over 10 years ago now. He was so nice and he actually waked up and sang Bootylicious and that's what was really cool."

It is amazing how an entertainer, who it was claimed to be irrelevant for many years, STILL gets asked about in interviews, no matter how limited the connection to the person being interviewed!

Every time the media rehashes that whole self-proclaimed crap, I smile because they contradict themselves by always asking other entertainers about Michael.

All the same, it would have been great to hear Michael sing Bootylicious. Lawd! LOL!

It seems many people met the Great Michael Jackson, and knew he was a wonderful person. Strange they only remembered that after 2005.

Are you being snide because it's Kelly Rowland saying it and if so, why? She never bashed him so why the hate? Sometimes the indignant attitude of some fans towards anyone that mentions Michael' name isn't warranted or deserved.

What does the word "hate" mean to you in the context of the post you quoted? I am asking to see if it means the same for both of us.

Next, when you have been around the forum for a little longer, you will begin to understand the intent and historical context underlying statements, and also specific fan's personalities as well. Then, maybe you will rethink your usage of "snide" and "hate" when quasi-analyzing statements.
 
Kelly has spoken about this before :) She always loved Michael, her and Beyonce.
